I saved one mynah baby some 5 years ago. Mynahs are very understanding, intelligent, social and emotional birds. If you take care of feral mynah chick it will not leave you. Mynahs feed 60% on insects like grasshoppers, mayfly, cricket, worms, moths, dragon fly, and several other insects. They love to feed on lizard and once in a while they eat baby mice. Mynahs avoid food stuff that are rich in iron content. Because mynahs soon suffer from iron disease called 'sickle cell anemia'. This is very common in pet owners who keep mynahs without knowing how to help these birds. Choose food stuff that are less in iron or no iron. Dont give it tap water, give aquagatd water instead. Tap water contains too many minerals. You can give ' brown-sundal' roasted without oil and grinded to power and power mixed with little water to make in semi paste form. They love this mixture. Always feed them with insects and lizard more and little bit with food and fruits that have no/less iron content. The mynah baby I helped grew up into adult and free today. Still it is seen flying around our terrace. Till now it visits home everyday, drink water and eat and go. They are very friendly intelligent but aggressive birds. They can talk also.

Give it grasshoppers, cricket, lizard, mayfly, worms ( you can buy these in pet shop), moths, dragon fly and all insects. Fruits like peach, guava etc. Give them brown sundal roasted with low flame ( without oil) and grind it to powder and mix with with water to semi paste form and give this mixture to mynah baby. They love this. Mana health mixture as told in this video is also good it has less iron content. Dont give any food content that are rich in iron. Because mynahs usually suffer from 'sickle cell anaemia' a syndrome that kills the mynahs due to excessive iron-content in food. Give it acqua guard water because it filters the minerals in water. Try not to give it tap water as much as possible. As tap water contains too many mineral content in it. Mynahs can talk if you talk to it from young age. They are very friendly, understanding and intelligent birds. If you give it proper care and if you leave it outside free in wild they wont leave you. They will come back. I have saved mynah baby several years ago. It still vist home everyday and play around our home.

Bro we found a 5-6 week old myna with one leg broken. We gave rice powder mix with water and boiled like how you made manna health mix, we gave grapes and watermelon but I found some thick like thing could be vomit so what should we do? Is it because overfeed or the fruit?

Bread may lead to digestion problem. no nutrition and vitamins in bread. so feed him good nutritional ie., balanced diet. u can feed manna health mix or hand feed chick formula.

I have mynah bird 32 days old. i got it 1 week back, I kept in cage , Her parents are feeding daily, Can i Leave now this bird on tree, if so will parents will give food or not . Keep Him till his parents stops feeding him. Once he ready to survey. His parents will stop feeding him. He will find his own food. Or keep earth worm in front of him. If he eat that u can leave him. If he not able to pick the earth worm u should not leave him

s u can give cooked rice without salt and over cooked vegetables. mix it together and make it into paste and feed . it should be semi liquid like idli maavu
