Tax calculation of Raj: 0-2.5L=0 2.5-5L@5%=12500 5-6L@20%=20000 .... So total is 32500 if I am not wrong.

health insurance buying outside is not that useful. since you pay 10yrs of premium and if you utilise it in 11th year you spent more than what we pay directly in hospital.

ELSS matures at 10 yrs . so investing a lumsum 1.5lakh every year for next 20 yrs . we will start getting a return of the maturity amount of each year ELSS from 11th yr onward. which will be around 5.5 to 6L rs on every maturity .year wise. for 20 more yrs which means till u retire.

Please correct me if I am wrong:🙏🙏🙏 In this example explanation..if a person doesn't show a rent of 7.5 k then he can claim HRA 10,000 x 12 = 1,20,000 instead of 7,500 x 12 = 54000. Calculation for 54000 6L - 1.5L - 54k = 3.96 L 3.96 -2.5 = 1.46L ==> 1.46 (5%) = 7300. Similarly for 1,20,000. 6L - 1.5L - 1.2L = 3.3 L 3.3 -2.5 = 0.8L ==> 0.8L (5%) = 4000. So tax payable Will be only 4000 instead of 7300. Please correct me if I am wrong

Shahzad Khan if you're salaried employee you can file quick online ITR... just watch a video on KZread... you'll be able to file it by yourself.

Thanks for the amazing video. It is really helpful. I have a doubt on this. I understood, you forgot to calculate 20% tax between 5 lakh to 6 lakh income. If the individual taxpayers having with anual tax income up to 5 lakh rupess then the taxpayers get full tax rebate. Hence, the taxpayers with anual tax income up to 5 lakh don't have to pay any tax. Please let me know if Im wrong. Thanks

We all nailed the physics calculating the speed of train with time and distance parameters, deep dived maths with derivatives and integrals, studied history of how the Moguls invaded India. But no body takes us seriously on how to do tax calculation and even we do not bother on how to do tax calculation until we land into a job and get more than 3 payslips and still we confused on what's are the slabs and how they work. Even elders and teachers do not teach this as a subject because they think money is sin.
