The salt also prevents water to flow from the soil into the roots by osmosis. Its not a bad idea, but regulate the amount of salt you're adding.

Thank you for your great tips.. one suggestion I would make is fill the pot up with soil to the top, use a filler at the bottom of wood chips or whatever.. the higher the stem of the plant is , and it should be at least level with the rim of the pot, the better light it gets...

I really would like it if you could make a vid on how to get rid of spider mites. They are in my plants and I have tried to kill them. Please help

Ok, I had raised this pot plant since June. I pruned it and fed it all this time and now it's dying on me, because I made the biggest mistake i could ever make. I mixed up some molasses and water in a pump sprayer. I sprayed the leaves and the soil on top, but when i filled up the bottom feeder on the flowerpot is where i made my mistake. DO NOT FILL THE BOTTOM PART OF YOUR FLOWERPOT WITH MOLASSES AND WATER MIXTURE!!! Is there a chance that i could save this plant???
