The vast majority of PDFs in online viewers simply aren't set up this way sadly. You somehow manage to have swerved every single person telling you this, while responding only to the "OMG THIS WORKED!!!!" comments. Almost as if you're not really interested in helping people solve this. 🤔 This technique will only work on the most basic of websites with unsophisticated set-ups, unfortunately.

As I explained to another commentator = many of the links to the actual pdf are stored in java scripts referenced by . seam I will repeat here what I wrote in the earlier comment: . seam is a file used by Java Web applications supported by the JBoss Seam Framework; it stores a reference to a back-end servlet - which processes requests to the Web application; it is used for serving pages to the user through a Web browser; often used with the JavaServer Facelets technology. While the ".seam" extension is seen in Web browser URL - it generally does not refer to an actual file on the file system. Instead - it is usually just a placeholder for mapping URLs to back-end servlets. The web.xml file of a Java Web application usually contains this mapping rule: My Servlet *.seam

Well it works for some people. At least it works on simple websites (most) and it worked for me!

My study material provider made it so that the purchased text book is only viewable from the browser. This video helped me download it so easily. Thank you so much man!

another way is to just put your cursor on the file and do control s idk if it works everytime, but smh worked for me
