I have been buying clover plants for years. This year, in March, I purchased two new green plants. Today, as I was staring at one of the plants, I saw a 5-leaf clover. First time ever in my life and I am almost 60 years old! I take it as a good sign.

How much do you charge per plane?? I found one along my front porch; it gives tons of 5 leaf AND 4 leaf clovers. I'm trying to propagate a bunch of plants from trimming - about to introduce all the lil guys with roots from water to dirt. Wish me luck. I can't find a realistic reference online for how much to charge

I swear this on my life I know it's mathematical & scientifically impossible. My son was with me I picked 30 in 7 minutes. All in a 3 by 3 patch.One 6 Three 5 rest are 4 I found many in my life 7s ,6s,5 and 5 but I've never been in a patch like that.

Im 25 and just found my first 4 leaf today, felt amazing. I might make a hobby out of this. 😊

Today after I walked my fiance out to his truck, as he was leaving for work, I did what I do any warm Nebraska morning. I bend over peering at the ground wondering where my "lucky" patches of 4,5,6,7,& yes even 8 leaf clovers are going to be popping up this year &as always I time myself in how long it takes me to find the 1st one. This year has been my fastest so far, entering into my 4th springtime on this very special piece of land. The previous record, last years was 7min. 15sec. , this year well blew that outta contention as this year.....47 seconds! That was pure smiley delight in the wet,childish grass on my hands &knees, but this 1st "clover hunting" day of 2019....**drum roll** I found 11, yes ELEVEN 4~leaf clovers & 1 ONE 5 ~leaf clover! Gonna be hard to beat that even in MY Lucky Yard! HAPPY SPRING EVERYONE! GOOD LUCK HUNTING!!🍀🍀🍀🍀🍀🍀🍀🍀🍀🍀🍀🍀🍀🍀🍀🍀🍀🍀🍀

Im glad you said about the patch bein somewhere else though, mine ocourse moves every spring. 1st year in the backyard, &every year since in the front but seems to alternate opposites sides of walk way that run from curb up to door. fiance jokes with me when i stand up straight &see him grinnin his grin at me &ask him if he was standin there lookin at me bent over instead of fixin his mower like hes supposed to be? Hell Yeah he says, why else would you be bendin over in front of me like that? always in unison we both say uhh clover,lol. found him a 5 this mornin & a huge leafed 4 this afternoon. i have been thinkin of takin up parts of the patch to put in a window box or raised flower bed. but havent got as far as researchin if theyd survive, spread, &if thru prunin &such if i could encourage, the 4, 5 & so forths to grow more,

Multiple times I've literally started looking and the 1st one i looked at was one 4 leaf. my record is Thirty-Nine 4,5,&6 leaf clovers in 1 hour. I have only ever once found a 7 leaf. which I was pressured into giving away. which i later found out is really rare with the odds of finding a 7 leaf clover being 1 in 25Million, a 5 leaf being 1 in 20,000 and a 4 leaf being 1 in 10,000. idk what the odds of a 6 leaf are, which I have found like half a dozen or so of. But I always find 4 and 5 leaf clovers alot.

My childhood home (before moving when I turned 13), had a front yard FULL of 4 leaf, 5 leaf, 6 leaf clovers! I even found a 7 and 8 leaf once. The success rate was super high too, I would find at least a dozen 4 leaf's a day. IDK if it has something to do with the soil or whatnot but it was amazing, and I'd invite friends to come over and find some with me. Miss that Home

I used to find those too! So glad I found a couple 5- and 6- leaves a couple years ago so I could take pics because nobody believed me before then.

I find a lot of four leaf clovers, and I've found a bunch of five leaf, six leaf, and seven leaf ones. I usually just keep them in books, but I think I might start doing this! Thanks for the video.

I am 31 and I found my first one an hour and a half ago. I have looked for them since I was a kid. I watched the movie "THE SECRET" about a week ago and started trying it out a couple days ago and the first thing I meditated on was a four leaf clover, and two days later i freaking find one ! I like finding 4 leafed clovers and laminating them for my kids for extra luck on big days! Such as first day of school or first day of camp or a big school play night. Today I found my first 5 leafed clover… I hope I can find some more, one for each of my kids and save it for a really big event like for taking their drivers license test or graduating high school or first day of going to college. Thank you for this tutorial as I found my first 4 leafed clover years ago (right when I needed some luck) and watched your video to preserve it and got the idea for my kids!

I am like you. I have hundreds. I find them EVERYWHERE! I look down and I just see them. Lately, I've been thinking maybe I should try to do something with this seemingly rare ability. I've never met anyone like you so I think it's really cool you have 4 leaf clover finding powers, too. I have quite a few five leaf mutations as well! I think we just have an ND brain that recognizes pattern sequence interruption more quickly than others or something. Idk. Lol Thanks for the recommendation! 1,000 plus for me, but they are Souls to me because I’ve found them after loved ones have passed. I have a couple hotspots, but sometimes I find them elsewhere in fields, along ditches, & whenever I say a prayer to find 1 at that moment.

After I found 100 of them that year, I looked up residents’ name from a memorial book who I had taken care of from the time I started in 2000 until 2003 (the year I found the 100) & there were 100!!!!! residents who had passed! I started to laminate a 4-leaf on a business card sized with Irish sayings on them & handed them out to residents on St. Patrick Day. After my mother’s funeral in 2017, she was with me in a form of a 4-leaf that I found after exiting my car looking towards the ground! Also, the day that my sister-in-law passed, I found another one the afternoon she had died. Oh, yeah. Souls.

I just found my 16th & 17th clovers yesterday :) First time finding two on the same day. Yes, I have also found a five-leaf, just once,....so far!

i found around 200 this past spring.. well most were 4 leafs some 5 and a few 6 leafs.. it was crazy i found the first one on easter and with in 2 months i have over 150. i have yet to recount them but will do soon.. i have been searching for ideas on that to do with them and how to keep them other then books. i find this video and it all hits me.. i just so happen to have a laminating machine and i also just got a dollhouse .. i now know what im doing for the bathroom floor . super excited and thank you also would like to add i have the worst luck after fining them to the point that i stopped looking. i think i over picked my luck

Hey there, I always find 4 leaf clovers. Last year I've found 327 clovers, of 4s, 5s and a few 6 leaves one too. It's too bad that this area doesn't allow pictures to share with. And I do the same thing as your video shows, but I'm at the stage where I want to get them into epoxy resin for a longer lasting impression and durability.

Epoxy resin is a really good idea. Thanks for sharing that idea. I wonder if there’s crystal clear hot glue where I could just lay one down on some clean glass and pour hot glue over it, peal it up when dry and pour on the other side? Or a gloss mod podge by placing the clover in a mold or tiny muffin cups and then fill up with mod podge till it’s fully submerged. Have any methods that you know don’t work? Please share!

I have found five 4-leaf clovers so far. I've found three of them in the same area this week! I'm gonna keep looking there because it seems like a lucky spot! 🍀 I accidentally let two of them wilt, so I'm gonna be very careful to preserve my last one. I've tried the tape method on my first one, it turned out pretty well The clover did become discolored a little bit though.

I just found 5 four-leaf clovers and one five-leaf clover in my back yard. Over the 3 years living here I've found about 10. I find them on walks, when I get out of my car at friends' houses, as a kid playing at parks. I've got my first 2 pressed in my favourite book of fairytales, one huge one in an anatomy book, and about 40-50 pressed in a plastic page cover. I find them everywhere usually when I just happen to look down. Haven't won the lotto yet though LOL 🙃

I used to find them as a kid, and started looking again this summer for fun, I’ve found almost 1,300 at this point! I’ve given away at least 150-200 of them and it’s become something I look forward to if I finish work while it’s still light out. My area has clovers EVERYWHERE and I seem to have an eye for finding the 4s :) I mostly press mine in sketch books but recently got a small microwave press kit and it’s awesome! My personal collection currently sits at 1141 (give or take a couple but I try to keep track!) and I’m curious if I can make it to 2,000 before winter 😁

That is very interesting. I used to save pressings bet between packing ape when I was little, but have since moved to sealing my pressings between glass. It is very time consuming to measure and cut the glass, clean and polish, and seal....but it looks a lot nicer.

I have one of those small handheld glass cutters with the little wheel thing and the time and effort is what is preventing me from doing it. Maybe I could do that to the ones that are flawless? Like someone else said, epoxy resin is a good idea. But then permanent. Glass you can always lift up and change if needed. 🤔

I press mine in an old Sears & Roebuck replica catalogue from the early 1900s that is made up of a thicker-than-newspaper-like paper. I was storing them loose, in plastic binder sheets(the kind for storing 9 baseball cards in) and after 7 years, half of them broke. 5 leaf, 6 leaf, and I think 7 leaf destroyed. I did however manage to save a few dozen and two 5 leaf clovers. Have taped them together with packaging tape like in the video, to the backs of ID cards and drivers licenses. I’m almost 40 and have every single temporary and plastic drivers license since my first license at 17. Those I will keep forever till I’m dead so storing good looking 4 leaf clovers to those are what I do. Some grocery cashiers are amazed at them sometimes, usually the younger ones that have never seen one in real life and may not know how incredibly easy they are to find, or just not knowing that they are more common than one might think. Usually the 4 leaf clovers that are bitten by bugs to high he’ll end up staying in a book or forgotten about. I really treasure the ones that are healthy, all 4 leaves are exactly the same, and the spacing between each leaf is about the same. I also give them away to ransoms every once in a while if I find one and have no way of keeping it in a safe place until I’m back home. I’m considering maybe doing something with the healthy and green ones like selling them on st Patrick’s day downtown, or laminate 2 nice ones together side by side along with a cheesy poem that has to do with lucky relationships and selling them to couples outside bars. I figure drunk people will be more likely to cough up the cash for them opposed to sober people that are ontop of their game. I could sell single ones to the drunk bottom-feeder type people that are desperate to get laid, in hopes that if they buy a 4 leaf clover, they will “get lucky”. I looked on eBay and there’s too many people selling them. Probably people that cultivate them. I read an article online about a man from South Korea that makes $100,000 a month selling 4 leaf clovers for $150 a piece. I wish I could corral some of his clients or tap into his market somehow. Maybe I could build a client base of people that are from places where they don’t grow and superstition is part of their culture. 🤔

My daughter just found 2, 4 leaf clovers stuck together and then my son found a 5 leaf clover! What a day!!🍀

So far only found two 4 leafers in the span of 1 week definitely look forward to finding more. Funnily enough they seem to appear when your not deliberately looking for them lol or atleast my case.

I found my first one after decades of looking. I was going to do Reisen but I think I will just do the tape. It's easier and should work just fine.

I have a clover patch in my backyard that produces 4 leaf clovers!! Plus a few 5 leafed ones that I've found also! In one sitting(maybe half hour of looking) I found 20, 4leaf clovers!! And find a minimum of 5 each time I start to look for them in this one small patch!!

I remember finding a four-leaf clover as a child in elementary school, but I never thought of preserving it. Just today, I actually found a five-leaf clover (even checked the underside to make sure that it wasn’t fake). In fact, I’m pressing it now as we speak. Maybe I’ll follow the video’s instructions so that I can have a good luck charm to carry with me.

When you use this tape method to save the clovers, how long will the green color stay in them, or will the color eventually disappear from them?

If you put a shriveled up one on a wet paper towel it'll unshrivel and you can flatten it in a book.

you treat these things as if they are plentiful supermarket items. what a wonderful hobby you have dude. and obviously a very lucky person!!!!

I have a 4leaf cover from 2014 its in one of my books i put ironed it in wax paper for safe keepings.

What happened to clove no 1

I keep mine in a small folded paper that i leave in my phone case so i can have it in there for a while n sit on it n put pressure on it, n it drys them out pretty good, i dry alot of little flowers like this

Ever since I legally changed my name to Irish Jade in 2000, & starting in 2003, I’ve found over 1,000 of them. I laminate them, but they have still have faded. However, I recently taped them & then laminated them on a few 8”x 10” laminated projects I made for Tommy Kramer & Chuck Foreman from the Minnesota Vikings team from the late 70’s - mid ‘80’s. All in all, I have too many that have been pressed in books & folded paper. Those may be overly dried, but I still used some. Lol

My brother showed me four-leaf clover hunting when I was a toddler and I was hooked. Now at 66, I have hooked my husband on to this addiction. I quit counting when I was in my 20s but by that time it was about 5000. I've found up to eight-leafers. I have two six-leafers now plus a lot of fours. Have you tried sealing them in resin? I haven't but would like to hear tips about sealing them that way. I will look for the laminator as well. Thanks for the video!

I like to sit and search sometimes but for the most part I find them while taking a quick glance. I have also taught many friends and family members how to find them and spot them out and tips to finding multiple in a location. I would like to make a video but I’m not sure how to start a channel or how to tag and title it properly to catch the worlds attention.

A tip that I use to find the 4 leaf clovers...I use the white lines on the inside kind of forms a triangle on normal 3 leaf covers... & a kind of square shape for 4 leaf ones & above... I've used this technique to show & help my nieces & nephews to find them & it seems to help them find them ...EVERY PATCH OF CLOVERS WILL HAVE ATLEAST ONE 4 LEAF AS IT IS A DEFECT THAT NATURALLY OCCURS BUT ISNT ALL THAT COMMON AND AT ABOUT 1 PER 1000 OR TWO YOU JUST NEED PATIENCE & USE THE TRICK TO LOOK AT THE WHITE LINES THAT ARE IN THE MIDDLE ...DO YOU NOTICE HOW THEY KIND OF FORM A TRIANGLE..,,.. IF YOU LOOK AT THESE WHITE LINES &LOOK FOR A SQUARE TYPE SHAPE MADE BY THEM SAME WHITE LINES ITS A 4 LEAF....

Today I beat my best record walking after work, I stopped counting after 100! It was very emotional because my mother taught me when I was 5 how to find them. I had been so proud because I found my first and only, until today, 12 leaf clover. I found another one today at 30 years old. Reminded me of my mom. And yes, 5,6,7,8, and yes 9 leaf as well! I actually find more five leaf than 4 leaf, maybe because they are easier to spot? ❤

That will definitely happen over time, but I've kept mine green for 1+ years by keeping them in a cool dark place. If you leave them in the sun/exposed to light it'll definitely speed it up. Also, make sure they're completely dry before sealing them up!

One time I found a seven leaf clover but I didn't preserve it properly T_T I'm getting back into clover hunting as a hobby so hopefully I can find another to replace it lol Btw, thanks for the video!! Very helpful!

I just found a 5 leaf clover while walking home, I thought it had 4 leaves at first but as I flipped it around it had another smaller leaf under it. It's a little wonky and will be a bit difficult to position it because of it though.

I hate it when that happens. Maybe just rip off the wonky one so it looks like a legit 4 leaf? Lol 😂

This morning while I was taking my dog outside.. I was looking at clovers.. which is something I used to do with my Grandmother... and there it was! A 5 leaf clover!!!!!

How do you find so many 4 leaf clovers? Looking in the same spot? I just found my first today.

I put a 4 leaf on my counter, but by morning it wilted up. I wet it carefully. It's in tact❤ Now I want to use your tape method, but I need it for tommorrow 😮 to put in a Thank you card. Please help. If there is still moisture between tape? I havent done it yet. Sorry for the emergency question ❤

Today in about 20 minutes I have over 15 4 leaf clover a five leaf and 2 6 leaf clovers ... I’m very happy

I’ve found a 4,5,6,7 and 9 before!! But I need to preserve them! I’ve been taping them but they’re so ugly that way! I’m gonna try the first one… I never knew I had to dry them either 😂

Omg, I just found a five leaf today and I’m trying to preserve it like everyone else here!

I just found my first four leaf clover and when I went to go pick it up right next to it there’s another four leaf clover and then right next to it was again another four leaf clover. I found 3 four leaf clover‘s all at once in one little tiny spot, and it was my first time ever finding a four leaf clover and I found 3 of them

Tried your tape trick this morning when I found 1 five leaf and 3 four leaf.

May I ask how long does the second method preserve the clovers? :) I'd like to gift somebody a four-leaf clover and I love to personalize gifts. I'd also be happy to get creative with it and I'm wondering if I can put something like paper or a gift card between the packing tape and then lay the clover so that it also has a cute message within :) Do you think it is a good idea? Or something like glitter, would that work?

+Gighileanu Andrei I personally find that putting just the clover in the packing tape looks and works the best. How long they last varies on temperature, light exposure, and how dry it is before sealing. I have clovers from a year ago that are still shades of green in tape

I currently have a 18" diameter clover plant that 2 weeks ago found six 4 leafs and one 5 leaf. Today, SAME plant found seven more 4 leafs and one more 5 leaf. INSANE from one plant!

I have about 30 in a jar on the window sill, and probably 25 more marked with small flags in the yard. I also have 2 5 leaf clovers in the same jar on the widow sill. I have found hundreds in my 56 years.

How long do you let them dry for?

Would this Work if you Found one leaf half Eaten?

I used to use packing tape only for my clovers but some I found years ago started to disintegrate. I now tape them to paper instead. I never thought to use laminate paper though. Do the clovers have to dry beforehand?

This is what I'm wondering. I found my first one about a week ago and i did the tape method, but i didn't dry it first. I then found two more and did the same i am freaking out thinking i did it wrong. I hope it works. Did you tape them wet ?

@@jordanhess2061 Yes I tape them wet and they are fine. :) I sometimes forget to do them right away and then they dry up and I didn't flat them, so they crumble. >_

I have found hundreds! I have found five- to 13-leafers, too. I found four four-leafers today alone. Last week, I found two five-leafers.

I have found about 40 in the last few weeks. I am finding them almost everyday. I am not sure why. The other day I found 8 four leafed and 10 five leafed in one spot. The coolest was last week finding 2 four leafed clovers on one main stem. That day I found seven. Funny thing is when I try to find them I can't. They just seem to appear. I suppose it helps I have a dog so I am often looking down, picking up the ball or other stuff. The most I have ever found was a seven leafed. Thanks for sharing your preservation tips. It is hard to get them home in time before they wilt. Any suggestions?

I usually have a water bottle on me and put the fresh picked clovers in there until I get home! Otherwise, depending on how hot it is, you only have a few minutes-an hour before it's too wilted

Found 44 the other day. 4 in one park and 42 in another. There were over 10 5 leaf. That brings my total to 117 over the last month! This is uncanny! There has one been 3 or 4 days where I haven't found at least 1. Whether you believe or not; I am going to take the opportunity to thank GOD.

Over the years I've always used the book method. 🍀 I've probably found 100s of four-clovers, but only one five-leafed clover, and no seven-leafed clover yet..... But I'm still looking. ☺️

i have found 4 leaf, 5 leaf, 6 leaf and 7 leaf.. i have video of me finding 4 and 5 leaf clovers in my yard; on my channel. AND it shows my 6 & 7 leaf clovers at the end, along with my 4's and 5's, that i preserved/sealed)

I found a 5 yesterday and a 4 today!!!!

I have a 12 leaf clover. In that same patch, I found 3 eight leaf clovers, and an 11 leaf clover. I was amazed and thought I was hallucinating. The videos are on my channel for proof.

same here small patches but closely scattered, if that makes sense. but none in big patches, &never, ever found two together, no twins.

How long will the clover preserve in the laminated sheets?

If you keep them in a cool, dark place they can stay green for years. On the other hand, if you put them in a warm spot with light, they only last a few days to weeks
