I have a Samsung washer model # WF45M5500AP/A5, purchased new in July 2018. My washer stopped working 2 weeks ago and I determined that it was the main control board. I did not have the extended warranty. Finding the replacement part (DC92-01982A) was difficult but I was able to purchase the last one available in Canada from Samsung. I suspect that this control board has been a problem for Samsung since the entire replacement part stock has been depleted throughout North America. The part arrived yesterday and cost $341.00 (CDN) including tax and shipping. I live in Nova Scotia, Canada. I installed the new part this morning and followed your very detailed and thorough instructions. Thank you so very much. My washing machine is working properly again.

Hi Morton, I live in Nova Scotia too and I believe I have the same problem and am having the same issue finding the part! I'm curious how you diagnosed your need for a new control board, and wondering how the washer is doing now?

@@calebcarlos9044 No power so it could only be the main control panel. If you have power but no display, then it is the display control panel. Machine works fine now but it has only been 10 months since the repair. Good luck finding the part (s). I'll never buy Samsung again.

@@mortenandersen2885 thanks for writing back Morten. My problem is a 3C2 error code, just took out the Control Board to try testing circuits but it's enveloped in Epoxy! Good idea to do, except for when one part fails that the homeowner wants to trouble shoot. Best wishes with your machine running a long life! 🙂

I watched the video, and it was explained in great detail. I ordered the main control and installed it in about 30 minutes. Now my washer works great again. Thank you do much for this awesome money saving video with expertise instructions and details. 👍👍👍

hope you can help me diagnose my washer issue .. Just installed a new rotor position sensor and display board on my washer ... thinking mainly these two items I installed could have been the cause of my washer prematurely stopping during any of it's cycles. Apparently the two parts did not fix my issue and would like to know if it could be my control board causing the washer to stop during any of its cycle.

Will this fix my machine if it doesn’t turn anymore? It started by having to unplug it for 5-10 minutes. Then unplug it for 30 minutes. Then 24 hours. And now it will not turn on anymore. Is this a PCB issue or something else?

Is this the power control board that controls the stator motor? I see there is two control boards only one was replaced in this video.

Yes it is. This board has the power relays that power everything in the unit.

Hi, do you perhaps have a DC92-00658C PC board?

Did any of you two ever FIX the AE6 error code issue? If so, which parts did you have to switch out for the machine to work again? The main board in this video? the control board? The inverter? The …. Too many possibilities! Thanks for sharing your experience!

What is the model number of your washer?

How come you don't show how to replace the inverter and what's the reason to replace it???

You can’t just pull out that whole white part. Lol
