Excellent video - short, sweet, and to the point! My dial was broken and after ordering the new part, this worked like a champ. Although I caution if you clean out the drawer (mine had mildew in it), there are sharp edges in there!

Hello, the Samsung Controller on our Dryer stopped working. Our model has lights which change around the dial as the control dial is turned. We bought our model in 2019. I think someone tried to pull the control dial out, instead of turning it. The dryer still works, but the controller can not select anything, except for the center position, which it is already on. Any thoughts on how to fix it? Do you know if the dial can be pulled straight out & put back in correctly? Appreciate any direction on fixing this. Thanks & kind regards.

Jackie, sounds like it's the same issue I had with my washer. The dial seemed to freely spin without selecting the options. The back of your dial's plastic tube with a "half moon" is broken, allowing the dryer's shaft to freely spin in it. You will need to order another dial for the dryer most likely.

it's damage inside board not simple button. which can be fix easy

@@bluebird5974 We found out the dial had been pulled at, instead of turning it, so the dial broke on the inside. A new dial was about $35. I did have someone install it for me, and I'm glad I did, because even the technician had a hard time putting everything back into position. (It was a tight fit). He was going to charge me $250 for installation, but I asked if he could do it for $50, and he actually agreed. Thanks be to God.

@@bluebird5974 It ended up being just a broken knob, which cost $35 for the knob, plus installation. I'm glad I didn't try to install it myself, because it was challenging for the fixer guy to snap the housing back together, as it was a tight fit.

I have this exact washing machine and the nob is broke but we can still turn it with a screw driver to set the cycle. But now it won’t spin on any cycle but it will on rinse and spin . It’s not off balance and the pump is not clogged. Do you know what it could be ?

you do not need to do all this. it just pulls right off of there and you pop the new one on
