Looking great as always! As does your pigeon! Love your little pidgey 😊 My male pigeon bites lately everytime I hold him, but other times he makes purring noises like a cat 😅

Awe such a good wittle bird. Premium treat time. Is this the same technique for Canaries?

Thanks for watching!! Yes, the same can be applied for canaries, although, you’ll probably want to hold them differently since they are a lot smaller and can escape more easily.

@BubblyPetz1 I have a question not to relevant to the video but I need to get some help with some bird stuff so I can maybe get things set up for canaries later but have to situate the chickens 1st. Do you know of a substrate compost that will help with the odor of the chickens waste on the ground? Its a fairly large yard with some slate and brick planters I need a substrate that will go in the big sectioned off planter areas. And then I want to grow patches of wildflowers. I want to put the canaries in the bird shed next to the chickens coup.

@BubblyPetz1 Or if you know of a good source for info that would help tremendously thanks!

@@kovenant7 I’m not too sure since I haven’t had chickens before. I’d think soil that’s not too damp and has plenty of worms, springtails, pill bugs, and other decomposers would help to break down the waste and keep the odor to a minimum, but I know chickens produce a lot of waste and like to eat bugs so I’m not sure how successful it’d be longterm. I’d look into poultry forums like “BackYard Chickens” to see what other people use in their setups, and you could probably get an answer from someone there with more knowledge.

I've been getting by simply using a electric baby nail trimmer for my pigeon.

Oh, I never knew they had electric baby nail trimmers! I know that you can use an electric file to soften and reshape the nails after trimming. Thanks for watching!
