hello! I have multiman on my ps3. I enter the program and I only see my usb folder, dvd player, whatsoever. I cannot click the usb. What should I do! I appreaciate any answer

there's a guy did the same tutorial, i read a comment and he wrote this, it might help u guys problems "If you already copied the USB.CFG file and selecting "PFS Driver" from Multiman start menu doesn't help and you only get the loading icon, do this: 1. Go to the view with multiMAN with the house icon on the top left. 2. Choose "Switch to CFW mode. 3. MM will refresh and then go to the start menu and choose "PFS Driver". 4. Browse to your external HDD and it will work. "

It kinda works, it doesn't show all files and folders and after you close the file manager the USB HDD disappears from the list and you have to restart your console to see it again.

That's useful if you need to drop some games on your PS3 HDD. But it won't let you backup anything FROM PS3 to USB as this method apparently attaches drives as read only (no Paste option in pvd_usb000 folder and it shows 0MB free space).

I tried first with a 64gb memory stick and it didn't work, stuck on loading screen. Then I used my wife's obscure, cheap, old and generic external hard drive bought in China that I only tried because it was the last NTFS format hard drive I had here and wouldn't you know, it worked straight away with this method. Many thanks. So yeah, if it's not working for you, try different hard drives until one of them work.

This definitely does not work. Either you're in Cobra mode, and the system asks for a usb.cfg file on the HDD ; or you're in normal mode and the file browser just keeps loading forever, whether it is for usb001 or usb000. If you try toggling between the NTFS & FAT32 the system tells you "operation not allowed" and you don't even see the usb000 and 001 anymore. Bottom line: not working under any scenario.

he did not show you the part where yours suppose to created the USB.CFG File and then place it in multiman thats why it does not work he should not be even showing this tutorial without that step because it will not work without that file. XD
