How To Run Bigger Fuel Lines In Your Car
Автокөліктер мен көлік құралдары
Want More power from your car but your fuel system is restricting you? Running a larger Feed line to your engine bay can help free up some of the restrictions from your stock fuel system! It's not as hard as a lot of people think it is to do! We're doing this on my 2014 Subaru WRX but the concept is the same across other cars!

It's really not too bad to do, the worst part is feeding that line under the saddle. For some reason mine was stupid easy to pass through 😅
So my auction car came with dual fuel pumps, radium hanger, and custom fuel lines already. But I have yet to see a fuel filter so, once again, Tanner to the rescue! Lol 😂 saving my build once again. Lol

My 85 rx turbo has an external pump from the factory so the big pump and line system was pretty easy. They didn’t have the tech in the 80s so there is a lot more room.
Is it necessary to replace the hard line around the 500-600whp range? Would -6an work for that power range as well?

-6 AN would be fine. Anything north of 550 I'd suggest bumping up off the stock line to a dedicated feed 🤝

Hello. Do i need to do this if im planning to go to 500WHP? Thanks for your video
For the crossover/siphon line do you just leave it oem or upgrade it to -6 AN
any guess on how many feet you used to get it to the front of the vehicle? Thinking about buying a pre made line because I dont trust myself lol
Need to do this on an classic car. Assuming it’ll work other than my fuel sending unit connection is a metal 3/8 barb. What’s the best way to connect that to this style line?
So I’m thinking about doing the upgrade fuel line can you tell me where it goes at by the motor or do I need something to go with it the upgrade? Fuel lines I’ve never done before
Yo tanner, got a question could you explain everything that is needed to do the poor man’s 6 speed swap? You need the 6 speed, 05 impreza driveshaft, sti starter, and sti slave cylinder, is that all that you need?

you ever get any gas smell seep through the EE hose? I'm dealing with some other cheap AN hose that constantly bleeds vapor. (no liquid leaks, only smell) ):
Is there any line that’s good for e85 and 93? Or can I run a vibrant line like suggested and be fine running both?
Hey Tanner Are AN fittings supposed to rotate? Ir if its rotating means I didn't tighten it enough? I was scared of breaking it so I might have not tightened it enough.

Speaking of fuel. Where is a good place local to the 253 (Puyallup area) to get ethanol fuel ⛽️
Could you do this with stock or just an aftermarket fuel pump? Also if you did the AEM fuel pump would you recommend doing this as well if you’re not lookin to make a lot of power?

Cobb 👀
the huge different is the flow rate of the lines and fittings between evil energy (or any cheaper brand) for any sub 400whp cars you wont notice much, once you crest that number esp with a car that creates high engine loads youll effectively change whatever an line size you started with, to the next size down, increased risk of fuel starvation and pumps over working not hazing you over this, just more knowledge!
How do you know which size lines you need? Would too big be a problem? Possible pressure loss?
@Smeedia
Жыл бұрын
Too big can be a problem if you have too small of a pump Stock lines are fine up to 500whp 500-650 I'd do -6 AN 650+ -8AN
