It’s all about timing and using your eyes
Your philosophy is the best part. Allowing what works, but critically assessing each decision.
The footwork explanation was fantastic! Brilliant. Thank you so much for sharing!!!
Thank you so much. What I loved about this, was that you actually teach how to do it step by step.
great video, very instructive
Hey Carlos, first video I’ve seen of yours. Good stuff. I really like your way of explaining things. Detailed explanation but not over complicated.
Good simple breakdown of the move. This will help you keep and learn good form
Great teacher! Thanks!
Fantastic tutorial once again. Many thanks.
Great video. Could you please do a 20 minute HIIT session with bobbing+weaving+counter attacks? That would be an awesome exercise session! Thanks

Shikhar Yadav keep it orthodox specially since you just starting easier to learn because most coaches teach this style . Idk you age tho . Drilling will help you foot work . Focus on foot work drills(pivots, angles, side steps, pendulum step, shuffles etc ... focus on making moving around in ever direction something you can don fluidly . Then add the upper body movements they are easier to learn .

Shikhar Yadav focus on one technique or movement each week.. after your warm up jump rope for a few rounds then work that technique slow for 4 or5 rounds do that for a week str8 by the end of the week it should become easier to do . Then the following week cut that technique bac to 1 maybe two drills a workout and focus on something else for 4 to 5 rounds .

Please can you make a tutorial on how to fight if you're a short fighter !

Then u must have some strength and learn takedowns, not on boxing, flr fight!

You've probably gotten it figured out by now as it's been four years, but keep in mind Mike Tyson was *really* short compared to most of his opponents. In-fighting is the most recommended for short fighters, my advice is to practice fighting on the inside, learning how to control the distance and improve your defense (defense as in blocking, smothering and dodging).
Is slipping punches the same as rolling punches??
Thanks coach a good and informative video. What about in the scenario where you might want to bob and weave to the right while simultaneously moving forward ? How do you do the footwork in that scenario ? Thanks.

You can perform a shift into a southpaw position like Mike Tyson use to do. I would not advise it but I could make a video on shifting in future, so stay tuned!
looks like damian lillard
nice video, but "Bobbing" is the act of bending straight down and back up.
👍🏼👍🏼up
Sir. I'm from India and I'm your big fan. proud of u😊😊
Don't do this if you have chronic knee problems, it will fuck you up. Ask me how I know.

ye ig we should bend hips and kness rather than over using the knees
Thx, also it depends on the person, if its a fat person or bib boned person they might hit harder than a usual person and a fat persons punch is hard like a person who works out.. fat person vs person who works out will have about the same hard hit
i like your tattoo
Do you keep your back straight while ducking

Sometimes you can get away with leaning forward, if you are Mayweather or Tyson.

Good stuff here. But nobody pointed out he is wearing one white Sock,, and one yellow sock. Comments ts about his tat I noticed. Weird.
Bro leave the shoulder roll alone. Most people get their ass beat trying to use the shoulder roll thinking they're Floyd. That might work with inexperienced fighters in a gym but It's an easy defense to crack if one haven't been using it since birth.

JO JO i see what you're saying but I don't subscribe to your viewpoint. I don't believe a fighter should have only one guard, a guard should be fluid and adaptable. Shoulder roll is just one guard and I'm find of it. When I fight I don't have a preference force by guard.
@BKP.1

No doubt, brother, but I didn't say that fighters should have only one guard. I simply stated that the shoulder roll is an unbelievably easy defense to get through. I've used it on occasion but just bs'ing in the gym. Being in that shell makes most boxers an easy target. Most of the fighters I see trying to switch to the shoulder roll defense in sparring or in actual fights get overwhelmed by their opponent when the punches start flying...and the opponents know that and take advantage of it. Just my personal observation. It's one thing to be well-versed in various defenses but in order to perfect that particular style, one would have to start from a very young age (other variables come into play, also, which I won't get into right now). It's possible to perfect it, as evidenced by Floyd but when was the last time you've seen someone successfully (and consistently) use it outside of him, Sr, or Toney? And don't say A.B. Great channel, btw. Keep up the good work, young bruh.
Great video but the title is misleading cuz tyson did not bob and weave like that
0:50 sorry but wtong
Like Tyson? Fail. Put the rope away. kzread.info/dash/bejne/eo6EmcaEh62vac4.html Watch Tyson
That's not a move for Jon Snow cuz he won't bend the knee
6:29
Fackiy pech
Actually mike tyson was bending at the hips and not the knee like in the video.
@devitus781
