just wanna say thanks so much i downloaded eso mod list and every noob like me had no idea how to rollback it all and you helped everything after i broke the game corrupted saves smh. i put your link on his page for peeps who need help that is quick easy as well and also thank you for explaining windows as well. you my friend are a godsend.

Hello! Thank you for the help. I have a question. This helped me with my Skyrim game downgrade, and it opens just fine on the game. But when I try to open it with skse (using the correct version that you linked too) it automatically crashes D: Is there anyway to fix this? Thank you so much!

Sorry, I didn't answer your question properly, just provided you with a link to older versions of Vortex! I am not sure about Vortex since I use MO2. Hopefully you found a way to make it work for you in Vortex.

I'm a little confuesd, I have just downloaded and installed off Steam and got Skyrim SE 1.6.117.0, how do I update from 1.6.117.0 to 1.6.353.0, and more importantly how come I only got 1.6.117.0 from steam?

Does anyone know what version of SKSE I have to use for version 1.6.353? I can't find anything about it!

now i am getting (skse seems to be broken executable version :0 script version 69) after i enter the game and therfore thrown back

I followed all the steps but now it's saying that I'm missing bink2w64.dll whenever I try to start SKSE or Skyrim SE

Sup man just tried it earlier . but the version doesnt start the game it says " You are using skyrim version 1.6.353. which is out of date and inconmpatible with this version of SKSE64(2.2.3). Update to the latest version." What should I do men cnat play it anymore help me please

I did it but my game won't launch and when I open the exe it says "The SteamUser procedure entry point could not be located in the dynamic library Steam/Steamapps/Common/skyrim Se/skyrim.exe

Sorry to say that this video is very out of date now. I personally, if I were you, would just update Skyrim in Steam to the current version and experiment with Creations. I may even do a video as to WHY this is a good idea. If you want to retain your current mod list in MO2, it's going to be a long and tough ride for you, in honesty. I would recommend going to the Skyrim mods board in Reddit if you want to do that, maybe they will give you good advice. Personally, I think that the days of MO2 are waning.

why can i not even find a .steam folder looking for the skyrimSE.exe using pop os

The console should show you exactly where the downloaded file is, and therefore where your steam folder is, it may not be in the same location as with e.g. Ubuntu.

@@jdragon8184 This really wasn't a necessary update, and caused so many problems. Thankfully the community worked out a way to deal with it :) I'll be staying on 1.6.353 for the foreseeable

@@paulwenmoth4258 do you mean messing up SKSE? I don't think they will fix it any time soon, they don't care. SKSE is technically nothing to do with them. What's bizarre is that this update, which kind of rewrote SkyrimSE.exe, was really nothing particularly useful. I think it's best to stay on 1.6.353 for as long as possible.

i'm opening a new browser and entering in steam://nav/console and pressing enter. nothings happening. is there another way to get there manually? I'm trying to downgrade this on my steam deck. And every time they hit enter it doesn't do anything. Besides pull up some BS on Google
