@Sunday School Network may I ask what translation of scripture you are relying on? It makes a big difference if you are a "fundamentalist". Are you using original languages (ie Hebrew/Greek)? NIV? KJB? NRSV? Do tell. Only "truths" have a habit of changing according to the translator/edition.

Since then, every decade or so, the Anglican church has gone one notch further away from Biblical Christianity! @@Apriluser I'm regular eastern-rite Orthodox but from what I've read about Western Rite Orthodoxy it is incredibly similar to Anglican liturgies. If I'm not wrong the Book of Common Prayer is still used.

Please pray for me. I’m sorry that I continue to cry out for prayers. I’m still struggling to provide for my two autistic children since losing my job over not getting the vaccine. I have pre existing health condition (Lupus) and Heart disease. I was denied my medical/religious exemption from Forsyth Hospital. My husband passed away three years ago, so I’m all alone. Both of my sons are non verbal so things are more difficult for me. I don’t know how we are going to make it through. Every month is a struggle, a battle to not end up on the streets. I don’t know how I’m going to make it. I’m so embarrassed by my situation. I’ve been put down and mocked over my circumstances. It’s hard to hold my head up. BUT NO MATTER WHAT. Even as I face homelessness with two young children. I have Faith that God will provide! Faith over Fear! I believe.

Godbless you I will hold you in my prayers tonight , I have 5 children my youngest is 34years old and he is non verbal with severe learning disabilities. I really feel for you life is hard for us and even harder for our children,so few people know about this end of Autistic spectrum,which is really disabling. Godbless you and your family

As a Muslim I'm at awe witnessing this man courage, he didn't budge nor halter his views from pressure but spoke what he believed is right. Aside from the differences we have, we share a lot of commonalties too and all my Muslim friends who know about him are in total support.

Calvin, you are as English as I am, brother. Stay strong against the haters and liars. And the cowards - even those cluttering up Bishops' palaces. You serve truth. We need you.

@@deleted3843 Calvin is English, but you have to understand that white people use English as an ethnic identity. That will never change. Everyone is entitled to their identity and the truth is this is quite easy to deal with. Make a distinction between civic and ethnic English and make sure all are the same under the law and that should suffice. If you don't do that then it means you're giving one group a dual identity and denying another group any meaningful identity. You can't do that, it causes jealousy, tension and trouble. Most of the friends I've had from other communities would have said I'm Jamaican and British or I'm Pakistani and British etc. White people said I'm English and British, English was always about ethnicity for them and although it may make some people feel excluded which is a shame it's still the way it is and it will never change. It just won't.

son, you do not need the CoE. Jesus said follow Me. His return is soon. The CoF should never have been involved in the nuptuals of Harry and Harkle, both are not Christians, it was and is a sham wedding. Follow Jesus and do as He says. He did not wear robes, had a mailing list, etc, He went about doing His Fathers will. How is it, the early disciples turned the world upside down, the church of England worked and do work to see that is upturned. Look into the eyes of these archbishops, their eyes are dead, dead as the church of England ordaining sodomites and lesbians. They will stand before a Righteous JUdge of all the earth.. The pope is guilty too covering up his peodophile cardinals. I cannot believe that thousands follow him and bow down to a statue of a woman and kissing beads. God warned of having idols.

Calvin, you are such a blessing to listen to, so refreshing to here people stand up for the true Gospel.

You may have been cancelled by the Church of England but you are not cancelled by God as his Word tells the truth. Keep on preaching who needs a title to preach the Word of God.

A terrific address containing a lot of subtle humour. Calvin speaks for a church grounded in the wisdom of the ages. No wonder the present crop of confused avant-garde posturers find him too outspoken.

Get alone with God and ask Him to make Jesus real to you. research the word scourging and repent, He did it for you. For God so loved the world thattt He gave His Son

I lost my faith in 1985. Since i lost my wife 5 years ago i have been broken and have no purpose. The feeling of loss i cannot describe. This year i have been drawn to returning to the Church, however the Church i thought i left no longer exists just at my hour of need.

Try the Orthodox Church. It still holds solidly to the Scriptures. Never mind the political issue with Ukraine. And don't judge a book by its cover. There is a foreignness to it depending on the culture of the parish, but look into what is taught. If you find a parish that uses all English that is best. I am honest in saying the Orthodox are the most realistic in dealing with life problems and through the healing power of the Gospels can help. It takes time but help is there. God keep and bless you. I will pray for you to find Him.

I'm sorry to hear you've been going through such a hard time. I'm totally alone in the world but holding onto my faith, as a Catholic, ultimately blows away the dark thoughts. God is all around, in the sheer happiness that is birdsong, flowers budding in the spring and for me, the joy of making my pets happy. Perhaps you could look for hope in these lovely things, the world will seem brighter. God bless.

He is positively standing on the Word of God. This is not about politics. This is about the state of the Church. 2 Timothy3:1 This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come. For men will be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy. v.12 Yea and all that will godly in Christ Jesus shall suffer persecution.

He is a fresh and articulate voice crying in a new wilderness.

Calvin what a beautiful example of Jesus you are to believers everywhere (no matter what denomination). You are humble, strong in your faith, and standing up for God's truth in a world which is so hostile to it. A standing ovation from me, all the way over from New Zealand 👏 Matthew 10:34 "Do not suppose that I have come to bring peace to the earth. I did not come to bring peace, but a sword." - Jesus 🗡️

@@davidsprouse151 if you listened to the whole of Calvin's speech you will hear that Calvin quotes these words of Jesus (Matt 10:34). As much as the gospel brings peace between God and sinners (Romans 4:25-5:1) it also brings DIVISION between those aligned with Jesus and those who reject Him. This separation is sharp enough to cut through the closest of family ties, even causing rifts, sometimes, between members of one’s own household (Matthew 10:35-39). Christ’s promise of bringing a sword isn’t to cause unnecessary conflict - Christians are supposed to live at peace with everyone “as far as it depends on you” (Romans 12:18). In pursuing this peace, however, Christians are also promised a life marked by necessary tension, because the kingdom of the world is at war with the kingdom of God. Each one of us will need to choose what to do with Jesus, and if we choose to follow him, our lives will look very different to the culture around us. Hope that helps to explain the relevance of the passage that Calvin references. 😊

@@jameshannaht Even this reaction is authoritarian.(repeartng what you heard) Instead of teaching his flock how to think for themselves, he's just feeding the beast (of authoritarianism). He know's better.. Teach the Bible dialectically, why not? I think this all started with the repeal of the fairness doctrine in america. Remember point/counterpoint etc. I've seen historical films (just recently watched Dawkins versus Pell.) They give a much clearer understanding of the Bible. When one demonizes opposing viewpoints, that's when we know we're in trouble.

As a Catholic and an ex-Anglican, I think I understand a little of what Calvin may be going through. He would be most welcome to join us and I think he must know this already. Much as I still love my old Church, I've never looked back.

Catholicism does not have the doctrines of the Lord Jesus Christ. Your sacraments ( that your salvation depends on according to the vatican) are nowhere to be found in the true Bible ( KJV ). Read about the identity of the catholic institution ( and complete destruction to come ) in the Words of the Lord Jesus Christ in Revelation 17, 18 & 19 ( King James Bible). Your unbiblical pope worships lucifer every pagan easter vigil ( on camera KZread ) in the vatican ( so called St Peters basilica). Heed the solemn warning ( Revelation 18 : 4 KJV ) of the Lord Jesus and GET OUT.

Some of the greatest Christians this country has produced has been cancelled or thrown out of the Church of England or jailed or had the living put in jeopardy. John Bunyan, the Wesley brothers, Cadbury (that family showed what Christianity was really about).

My Mother passed away in 1985 I could hear her clapping in heaven she loved England and her Church.

It's quite alarming that CRT people could infiltrate and corrupt what the church stands for. It's clear that Calvin is a passionate and knowledgeable person who takes religion seriously. I'm surprised he is so restrained considering he has every right to be absolutely livid.
