I once went on an appointment with my manager, interesting enough after doing the presentation thats exactly what the client said..."im gonna think abt it"...my manager smiled and said..."sure i suggest you do"...he sat down and waited for the client to think abt it..and said to the client its best to hhink abt it while he's there so he can answer any questions..that was pure gold..great guy, one of the best.

Problem is giving my phone number and extension and then INVITING them to contact me is RIGHT IN THE SCRIPT! I need to quit giving out my number. Then... If I want to follow up.... I do it after work or on the weekend when I'm not taking leads and say I'm making a special exception because my boss isn't here and I was just thinking of you blah blah blah.... And do a cell number. That way I get PERMISSION to keep me in THEIR minds! The... You should think about it thing doesn't work here because it's always a stall... I'll get nothing but jibberish.... But the take away.... Wow! That fits!

I'm just a rookie myself so I'm not really speaking from experience, but my training says work life insurance can go away unexpectedly, and it's often not enough. Also, framing your policy as a supplement to cover a specific need so the income replacement policy from work is kept available for what it is supposed to do.

What I tell my clients when they say that is "Mr./Mrs. _____ that is great that you have coverage through work. Not many people even have that. If anything happens to you while you have this work policy then your family can use that money to live off of. What we are talking about now is making sure your home will be taken care of so you're family will not have to worry about making the next year's mortgage payments."

Building a relationship with the prospect is key for this to work.. of course they can use another agent, but many times they don't want to have another agent come over and go through the whole process again. Many times they find it easier to just go ahead and buy because they know they need it and they like you as a person.

Final expense policies can range from $40-100 per month so let’s say you sell a $70 per month policy which is $840 AP. Let’s say you’re at 80% commish. You get $672. You sell three $70 per month final expense policies per week and you make $2,016. $2,016x50 weeks is $100,800 you make per year
