Hey DIY fella, can you recommend a good alrounder diagnostic plugin tool as there's so many to choose from. I have a parking sensor fault for instance, I need to be able to ID which sensor is out for example. Thanks mate

Watched 20 different e65/e66 vids. Every single person tells you to put your key in. You don't need to put your key in, just has to be in the car/near by. Start= on Start x 2= acc on Start+brake = engine on.

I'd say go with a dash trim removal kit, all the pieces are plastic, and wont scrape up your pieces. I got mine at harbor freight for like 6 bucks. Thanks for watching.

DIYsavecash when they say reset not possible!??

Hmm, very interesting, have you reset all the services that are due? My sparks plugs are the only service I still have to do, and I haven't reset the computer for that yet and my little car is red as well. If you have reset everything so your computer thinks everything is fixed and serviced then this is a good question, maybe the computer is smarter then us and it knows that you reset the computer but the computer is still picking up the problem. If you only have 1 service still in the red

Quick question I have a 2005 bmw 745i, when I go to car data on the idrive I dont have the symbol of the motor oil nor the symbol of the red vehicle "replace brake linings" what can possibly be the cause? And thanks

I just bought a 2007 bmw 750li ..I was driving the other day and the p r n d all started blinking and my engine shuts down to a certain speed. so for instance I'm driving and I need back up my car won't back up I'll have to turn the car off in order to reverse in need of help somebody kno anything about it please respond thanks

Hey I dunno if you got it yet or not. But a lot of people say they are a real pain in the ass. I have a 750li 2007 and it's running great. Lucky for me I had a person that did the maintenance often so I didn't deal with tons of issues. But the maintenance they do is the most important thing because you know what parts you may need to get next. If you have any questions about the car feel free to ask me

(part 2)(read part 1 first) then the computer will still have the red car, in the menu. Go to my vehicle reset check video, in that menu, make sure all services are reset. Let me know what you come across. Thanks for watching.

I did that on my 745li 2004. after reset it shows 15000 miles oil life. can you do it for less mileage? ?

+Stanislav Andrzejczak this is the upgrade on the 2006 model, or they also call it the facelift, but my 2006 idrive is stock the way it came from the factory.

I did reset it but the service light comes on 24000 miles with written on it.I reset everything after that they change from 11k to 21k.Now its 24k service light comes on.Whats that means?

Can anyone tell me why my bmw tells me I can’t reset it ?
