I used to do that for both cars and vans, nice one telling people about one of the ways to reset the oil service light. 😊👍❤💙❤💙❤💙

I would suggest the owner has been lucky that the motor still runs. Completely false economy skimping on oil and filters.

Saw the thumbnail thought you had a new van. As you said you was selling yours. You know your stuff tho. My days of getting on the floor to work on stuff are long gone.

Everyone who has ever done an oil change has probably dropped the sump plug/washer in with the oil.

Would be a good idea to put clean oil on the new filter gasket.

Looked worryingly low on oil.. Handy for people to know how to do this kind of stuff themselves.. Best to do em with a warm engine, oil drains much quicker when its thin, watch your hands the oil is pretty warm.

OMG...i am shocked with the amount of oil in that van, there was almost no oil in the engine, that much oil will deffo have not got up to the tappets, i would be amazed it even covered the sump ....how can someone let a new-ish camper van become so low on oil, I guarantee that engine is worn out before it should be. Please slap the owner, thanks

ElCap O you’d expect an oil light on the dash, looked pretty thick as well but maybe just cold.

@@mooskamoo the 2.3 MultiJet 110 Euro (which i think that one is ) holds 5.9L from completely empty, so if he put in 5 "and a bit" Litre then that oil light must have been on for months, as it does not look like its been leaking oil.

ElCap O yea some people are like this and don’t check or understand dash warning lights. I had to point out to a friend recently her fuel tank indicates was at the bottom and she’s like, oh I didn’t look or realise, just waiting for the vehicle to die on her!
