i own w211 e240 2003 my problem is speed meter doesnt go above 40km/h and some times it doesnt move at all but i can heard the noise of the dialer just like a wall clock when the battery is almost dead. so i switch to digital meter by using UP/DOWN arrow do i have to replace the whole unit or is there any way to solve it, thank you

Great Job man, You are very smart person. I have a question if you can help me on it. How do you sink car key with the dome light? I took my car to a mechanic and he reset something in my car. My dads dashboard, keeps lighting up red saying SBC ABS defective and sometimes the brake actually fails however the cars brakes are new and most of the time drives well, does deleting the error on the screen fix the system

No, and It shouldn't be driven like it. Where are you located. I know for sure that the SBC pump is covered under a 25 year recall warranty. Your dad should bring the car to the closest Mercedes Benz dealership and have it changed for free

@@CarGhost yeah replace it and did it on the new one also, mechanic is having hard time finding problem, don't know if dealer can help but it will be very expensive. And usually wants to start replacing part after part.

Best bet is to find someone(small mechanic shop) who works primarily with european cars to diagnose the problem for cheaper.

hello, a question: most Mercedes models with built-in telephone, are equipped with UHI connector and a cradle for a specific model and brand (eg Siemens S75). Is there an inexpensive solution to replace the cradle with a reducer where the UHI connector can be connected directly to an iPhone 7? or is there a diagram to make this yourself, and if necessary to connect via a bluetooth module? I am not aware of such diagram or solution, but depending on the model and the head unit type of the car you can purchase a separate bluetooth module that you can connect to the head unit. Check Tavarish's S class video part of his Ultimate daily driver playlist.

S550 w221 should have it built in. For the CLK you should be able to buy it separately. I think the aftermarket one is better.
