How To Reset Radio / Stereo Security Code Acura CL, TL, MDX Honda How to Unlock free Instructions
Step by step instructions on how to reset radio security code in Acura and Honda vehicles.
Radio stops working after changing the battery or when battery is dead. Free information on how to locate and retrieve the radio serial number and how to use it to get the radio working again.

This is the best most clearly explained description of how to get my 2003 MDX radio working. Thank you. PS - ISN'T IT INSANE THAT Acura/HONDA REQUIRES ACCESS CODE TO TURN ON YOUR RADIO!!!

I have tried this and it doesn't work unless i have a zip code. I live in Australia and I have tried postcodes and it doesn't work. Is there a website for outside USA?

Outside USA, you need to call your local dealer, they should be able to give you the code.
Is there another website because it doesn’t let me go on the website

I’ve tried both of them and nothing happens could it be that I have to change my stereo

U have to wait for the letter E on right corner to disappear then u can even the code if not it will not work
How do I get to the part that it said CODE

If you have the code, Just enter it, regardless what it displays on the screen. In my case it said Err8, and when I pressed a number button, the display changed to CODE on the screen. Hope this helps. Thanks for watching

if your radio turns on without the vehicle being turned on, then no. otherwise, just turn the ignition to on position and follow the steps, that should do it.

Yes, call your local Acura Dealer, they should be able to help you out.
If you have the code you should have just passed it on..... Easy fix

The code is different for every vehicle.
