How to replace your Bullwhip's Crack, properly!

Тәжірибелік нұсқаулар және стиль

Here is my favorite way to replace the crack of your bullwhip! While tying on a crack will work just fine, they can sometimes fly off when moving faster than the speed of sound. You also have to tie the knot just right or it won't work at all. While this method takes a little bit longer, it will lock your crack into place. This will allow you to use cracks until they wear out rather than when they disappear!

I got a paracord whip about 5 years ago, the crack came off the first time I cracked it. I have tried and tried to fix it, without coming to KZread admittedly. I watched your video, 2 minutes later I was out in my garden cracking it with my indi replica whip and even teaching my brothers. Thank you so much :)

Perfect! Thanks so much, this is exactly the technique I was looking for as my fall has the hole through it and I wanted to get it super neat again. Thanks for showing us and making it so easy.

To answer your question as best as I can: Since the cracker is making the crack sound aka a sonic boom, it is safe to say that the tip is exceeding Mach 1. If I had to take a guess I think the average cracking velocity could be over 1,400 Km/h (869 Mph) But I believe there has been instances where people have managed to get the tip to exceed Mach 2. I could be wrong though. Edit: I also believe that the sonic booms become louder the faster it goes.

Will this technique of poking the holr and feedint the popper throigh work with leather falls as well or just the types of falls that you use on your whips?

Thanks! I think the best way would be not to load the core, other than that, maybe try to make a 12 plait rather than a 16 plait whip?

Can you crack a whip without the tip (crack)?

  • @whipworks4468

The whip will crack without a popper, but it is bad for the whip and it will deteriorate over time if you use it in that way

How I replace my cracker Untie the previous cracker Put the new cracker trough the loop of the old one Remove the old one completely while pulling the new one trough. This way the old cracker works as the needle
