Found out. one simple screw on the bottom. It might be covered by dirt but its easy.

@@simplyfocus9937 Please read the manuel. Life can be so much easier. Find the middle of your line (I used about a 10 ft piece. Can be longer). Insert the middle of line into groove on the center of Spool. Then start winding boths ends into the grooves on both sides of the spool in the direction of the arrow. When full insert ends into reel holes, pulling snugly. Reassemble Reel Cover. Done.
