    That 90 degree angle tip really helped a lot, I always wondered how it was supposed to be set.

    How often are those control arm bolts siezed? Should it be something to worry about when planning to change the arm?

    Lot of wrist action. That's where a power ratchet comes in handy. Lol.

    Did the upper ball joint go bad, and you had to change both upper control arm + ball joint?

  • @RBTheMechanic

    @RBTheMechanic

    Yes control arm is one part with ball joint

    It’s also a press in ball joint as well, but depending on what tools you have or having a shop do it, it can either be easier to change the arm yourself or be cheaper to change the joint yourself, but for a shop it’s probably better to just replace the arm

    @@RBTheMechanic ‘06 TSX. They come as a complete arm, but you can also get just the ball joint and press it out/in, and the adjustable uppers are bolt on joints. Mine already had an adjustable i found out, so it was a quick 30 minute job, didn’t have to take the arm out or anything, just the one nut on the top and a hammer strike to break the corrosion and it pops out
