My dryer was squealing, had a guy replace the idler pulley, 2 months later it went again! He’s coming back today as he said he’ll replace the part at only cost of labor. But I’ll be doing it myself next time after finding your videos.

Belt placement - looks very tight, but easiest if left hand places belt on the motor pulley while right hand lifts the tensioner - you'll see when you try it.

Great how to video. Idler pulley was bound up on my dryer causing belt slip and squeal. Replaced belt but didn't have a replacement pulley. Was able to get rolling smooth again with some carb cleaner and elbow grease. Will order idler pulley to have on hand if it starts squealing again.

I charged one hour at the shop labor rate (I have a one hour minimum) and the cost of parts with my markup and tax. I give a 30 day warranty on my rebuilt machines. For you? 33! Thanks for watching!
