You guys did an awesome job. Very thorough, and meticulous. And I can see that you guys take pride in your work. I love that you guys cleaned and dusted everything out as well. Kudos
I had some mechanic experience but not detail enough for a heater core! I have successfully replaced my heater core with your video! Thanks so much ❤️

Independent research and critical thinking as well as the courage to act is an amazing trait
About to do this on my '04. It was much easier on my '91 325i bmw. I'm in for quite the DAY! Thank you for the thorough video!
The best video on KZread. I did everything the way you suggested and it turned out great. Thanks soooo much!

Got this coming up. Thanks for sharing.
great work..thanks for sharing..
That is a crazy amount of effort for a heater core. Mine just went bad. Grateful that I am informed on the process. Totally dejected to see what is involved. Nice video. Thanks!

Thank you for the info
What hell were the designers of this car thinking? All that to get at a part that will fail without a doubt. Nice job boys! I bypassed my heater core to avoid a $1000 bill to have this done. I just wasn't interested in tackling this at all. 2002 Grand Cherokee 4.0L.
Chrysler? Crazy....video great
First off I wanna say you guys do amazing work. That's a helluva job. How much does that job cost?
Great videos thanks!! But man, you skimmed over some stuff at the end lol - what did you have to do with the AC lines to make them work? I have an '02 and need to do this, but intimidated to do it by myself. How do you make sure you got every screw and connectors back? Man, I just don't know….so many steps. Thanks for making and posting it though. oh and why'd you remove all that stuff at the beginning? The battery? was it ever in your way?
Wow guys,,,, Thats good stuff.

Think the job would be much different on a 2001 jeep grand Cherokee V6 4.0L?
Do I have to remove the evaporator with the heater core?
I did this with an s-10... not a hard job just time consuming. 7 hours to get dash out, 2 minutes to remove heater core and install new one,7 hours to reinstall dash. Saved myself $700 in labor though!!!

Team great video quality looks like all the foam will have to be replaced as well. I think extra items were removed that probably could have stayed?? Battery / side internal panels etc… the dash should come off with all this stuff on?

OK I am buying my mechanic dinner on top of paying him. lol
Now I know why the shop wants to charge 800 dollars to change the heater core on a Jeep Liberty
Man , What a process ..UGH .. Bet my 96 jeep grand cherokee is about the same ..

Should have changed the blend doors for the dual climate while you had it apart, they will break eventually. Very informative video otherwise.
Mechanic love to hang those engineers who design it, marketing strategy to earn money on dealers repair.
That is crazy, they sure didn't want you to work on your own vehicle...make it hard to where you will take it to a dealer. Tell Jeep to kiss off, you are smarter than they think. Wonder how many hours the dealer charges to replace that one part?????

Caught my attention, was watching because I have a friend working on my 1986 camper van putting in a heater core. Sure am glad it isn't that complicated on the old vehicles. Got hooked on watching all the videos to see you get it back together. You would be surprised sometimes to see just who really enjoys different videos. You guys sure know what you are doing, enjoyed. Thanks for posting.
Now I know what you jokers have been doing for a month since Halloween! Thank you for reminding me to never buy a jeep!

same problem.fuck this it's not even worth fixing...😢😢
You have got to be kidding me......
Every brand out there is just as bad as this job, or worse. Don't go thinking that your "new Ford" or whatever model it is is better than this old Jeep. All vehicles are built in the same fashion with the cheapest parts available! Fail is what vehicles do, and they're only getting worse. 1990s cars and trucks seem to be better quality, but have much less toys, functions and options.
Yea I'll just buy a new vehicle. Jesus fucking christ.
how much extra did u do? i feel like u guys jsut got wrench happy and literally started removing everything
