My 2010 Tundra, which looks similar, sounds like it needs bearing(s) replacement. Thanks for posting this great video, it's a good place for me to start. One comment though...a crow foot attachment (preferably the flare nut type) could access the bolt heads that hold the bearing/hub assembly on the knuckle. The correct 60ft-lbs torque probably can be applied by using the crow foot attachment (turned 90°, that is at the 3 or 9 o'clock socket position).

The Lexus service manual calls for the axle threads going through the bearing to be lubed every 5,000 miles, would love to see how that is done!

Great video. Why not just get the entire hub assembly and just bolt it up?

I had a whining noise in my front for a year, had it checked out by multiple shops and they told me either it was the all terrain tires or that nothing was wrong. Today while driving around the hum from the front passenger size grew louder. I should have trusted my suspicion and gotten it replaced months ago.

My front passenger went bad with an audible rumble/growl from about 30-65mph. Also felt a high-frequency grainy vibration in my feet (floorboard). Interestingly, noise dd not change based on gas-on or gas-off modulation OR loading the wheel left/right (as in a turn) - that usually indicated for driven or front wheels (or both).Tech found visible/physical movement once it was up on the rack. The PITA with DIY on these is pressing the bearing on/off the hub. You really do want to have the right tool setup for that.

Cj Oakman i’m not sure if it’s the same or not but I believe it is. You can do it without a press if you have a hub puller made by OTC or hub grappler made by OTC.

I know this videos old but he missed a part. Between the hub and bearing there is a metal seal with a rubber lip on it. It doesn’t come with a new bearing you have to order it separately. Very important part. I’m sure this repair didn’t last.
