Great guide! It looks like it's the same process on other models of the same age too. We used thie guide for doing my 2014 420d and we've been able to do it over the course of a day.. Absolute pain in the neck having to do it on axle stands but we got there in the end. Turned a £600 garage job into just £130 of parts and most of a saturday - many thanks mate!

Mine feels very soft and doesn’t feel anything like it did when I first got the car. Any idea what it may be ?

Clutch is fine so I may wait until it dies to replace both. Would it be a similar job? Car in 2006 with 154k miles. Biggest fear is seized bolts. It will massively vary depending on the quality of parts & labour rate but on average around the £1000 area

Again obviously it depends on the garages labour rate etc but I’d say on average you could expect to pay anywhere between £700-£1000 at a garage for the repair using LUK bits

@@diydaly I drove it in the garage un orthodox means but in neutral it would run as well just wouldn't let you shift into gear. So cut car off then it allows me to select whatever gear. I turn key and the starter was my engine lol. Crazy right. But thats how I got to this point of changing clutch and flywheel. Oh and the fingers on the pressure plate were broken and half missing. Never did find those
