In this video I show step by step how to replace the battery in the Asus Vivo Book S510U laptop. This laptop does not have a CMOS battery so if you are having issues with time, it is most likely because of the main battery. Our laptop was no longer turning on without the charger hooked up and was not keeping track of the time correctly. I show you how to remove the bottom laptop cover, how to remove the hard drive, and how to get the old battery out. I show you step by step how to reassemble everything once the new battery is in. The model number on the battery for our computer is B31N1637. Make sure you get the correct battery for your laptop. We bought this one used off of Ebay but they also had new ones for sale as well.
