The rust is a big problem on these trucks

mechanic and cameraman both did a great job. Easiest to follow repair video I've seen

I cracked the red lens on my driver side tail light today. This is just what I needed to replace the whole assembly. That is one rusted out 2008 - looks worse than my previous 2003 Silverado - and that was a rust bucket! Cheers!

BAD INSTRUCTION! THIS VIDEO caused me to ruin a new TAILLIGHT! Do NOT try to install the plastic anchors using the taillight assembly to push them in!!!!!!!!! The front bayonet post will break out!!! This is what happened to me. Gently separate the plastic anchors from the taillight bayonet post and use the old ones or install the new anchors separately.

Do I need a pigtail if I wanna install the smoked head lights that have led ?

I can explain why that harness had electric wire connectors. I bought a aftermarket wiring harness and backup light socket was too big for the taillight housing. Had to splice in old socket from original.

My reverse lights are smaller and the harnesses I got for my 2010 silverado are all the same sockets. They don't have a prayer of working. What's going on? Why are they different its the same year truck 🚚?

Do u need to change the brake and signal light

In the next video can you upgrade the frame rust to the new model of 2013 frame rust? Nothing says Chevy like the rust holding it together lol

holly cow, where is that truck from? so much rust.

Bought a brand new taillight for my 2010 gmc Sierra sle and the same day the clips that hold the light broke off so I ended up getting pulled over by the cops and he let me know about the light. Cheap parts I guess
