Make sure you put the right starter in.

I had the same type of truck .Came in by towing .Starter was a click no crank.Tried jumping solenoid ,noise was at starter solenoid .So some power was reaching .Power probed 12v to starter same issue .3 batteries where very low put in 3 new ones 4th one had 750 cca so it was charged ..Old starter still clicks .So put in new starter.Tie rapped ground and tie rap positive wires double check also.New starter turns but makes a thud noise on flywheel and flywheel does not turn.I changed also a positive big cable cause it was halfway open chewed up in 2 places .put a new one.Ohm are good on 2nd positive big cable also cleaned.Still get a thud on starter.I have to trouble shoot it .Just wondering if the towing guy fooled around with wiring,cause he put a jumper wire on the 2 pin plug .Or something with fly wheel jammed in there.Ever run into this ??

My truck freightliner cascadia 2016 automatic.. The truck won't start no crank sound just giving the click normal sound when I try to fireup no check engine light showing and by the way I'm sure my truck has power but still no start . I was doing just too make sure using the battery cable to make sure charging up the truck battery for some time than try again but the truck still no start and no crank sound. not sure what's going on .

Changing the starter on a dd13 is the same as dd15?

How much do you usually charge for this job?

I have 2012 Freightliner Cascadia DD15 I need to replace Starter Can you please let me know what kind of Tools ⚒️ 🛠 🧰 you used for everything.... I watch the video but I think 🤔 I got difficult getting the right info on the Tools you use Including the gun... Thank you!
