I have found a good way for me to remove that stuck plug boot. These boots become baked onto the plug. Get a suitable size worm gear type hose clamp. Put it tightly all the way down to the boots end where it is right next to engine block. Now tighten it up securely. Now do this . Pull up on hose clamp, even twisting it back and forth. You are separating it away from being baked into plug. Do not give up. It will now separate from plug. Works every time for me.😊9

Thx419x tool is the way to do it. If your on a budget a ratchet strap after removing both front dog bone motor mounts then ratchet engine forward to get easy access to rear plugs. Take your time, don't get frustrated. Use quality plugs and lube boots with silicone or dielectric grease.

My father had an Oldsmobile Cutlass Cierra with that engine. I remember the back spark plugs were a pain. I see those plug wires were tough enough to remove on the front side, and they were easy to get to.
