I had to replace the coil packs and spark plugs on my daughters Infiniti G37 I bought her and until I found this video you made; I felt a lot of stress about getting in to it. After watching your excellent tutorial, I had it done in less than an hour! You made my job less stressful and so much easier. I did use an 18" extension for the 10mm socket and 14mm spark plug socket which made it easier to loosen/replace the coil pack fasteners & spark plugs and get around those pesky throttle body hoses😒, again you're a life saver! 🙂Keep up the great work! 👍

Thank you brother was able to change mine thanks to you. Keep up the great walkthrough. For some reason I didn’t have to take out the fuel regulator to get to the last spark plug by getting a 360 ratchet, don’t know why you had to? Mine is a 08 g35 don’t know if it was designed a tad different.

Thanks, this will help me out tomorrow. Very thorough. I'm a bit stumped, car cranks for like 5-10 seconds before starting. Threw a code for vacuum, found crack in hose by throttle body, fixed that, reset the light, still have the starting issue but no light. Kinda left guessing...

Don't use brake cleaner on the throttle bodies. Brake cleaner will deteriorate the rubber gaskets and can affect the electronics. Use throttle body cleaner or maf sensor cleaner/ electrical contact cleaner

I feel like I'm doing the idle reset exactly how you explain, but my check engine light never blinks..

No, you don't need to remove the fuel damper. Just the pcv hose. The coil will wiggle out just fine. As for the idle relearn, there's an app that does it for you. No need to count, or hold accelerator.

What was the reason you replaced your spark plugs? Routine maintenance? I’m asking cause I’m doing mine now and was due to rough idle which I’m not sure if it was misfiring. Old Plugs looked similar to the ones you took out. I’ll start it tomorrow.

When you removed your old spark plugs, wasn't that oil on them? And if so was your only replacement just a valve cover gasket and a tube seal?

So when I start the car, it idle low and sometimes dies, fine when you’re driving and have gas. At idle or when going into reverse with no gas, it sometimes dies. What you think? Spark?

It’s low key easier to remove the whole intake as one, throttle bodies and all. You get a lot more room to work with

Disconnect the negative for five minutes . then plug it back and try the process again.

@@shomarinelson7779 lol yeah that did work for a little I guess i really have a transmission problem that’s causing the light and as I drove more the light just went off by itself again then but when I put the car in reverse it takes a while to actually shift in to the gear.

theyre cheap sensors that connect to your cold air intake i believe

Ever since I've gotten a new alternator installed brand new my idle has been to low . giving me vibrations in the engine. At stio lights but shakes until about 30 minutes of driving then no shake. Its annoying. I changed the fuel injectors today . still idling low . maybe its my fuel pump but that runs Smith from what I'm hearing. Plus the car starts to no problem.cleanedaf sensors. Cleaned throttles still low rpm .

The OEM ones are much more expensive ($100 each!). As long as they don't have any issues, changing them is unnecessary.

Mine did that, there was a crack in the hose at the throttle body.

Always replace the ignition coils as well otherwise you will be semi-repeating this process when one of them fails.

I did everything and now my car auto revs without me touching accelerator

You didn’t do relearn correct also I think the relearn he showed is shorter than the actual version. In the actual version you have to press the pedal down 5 times after light starts blinking

My mechanic quoted me $600 for a spark plug change on this car.😢
