You don't have to remove the battery! It's enough to loose and lift the bottom part of the battery only. You'll need a plastic pick and a heat gun again. Besides, this video doesn't show how to remove the battery. Also, there is no need to remove the top face recognition piece. It can stay. So, lots of unnecessary dis-assembly. However, still, this is a very helpful tutorial. This guy has an excellent detailed video how to remove the screen/digitizer as well.

Beware! There are lots of step that he skips when re-assembling the lower half of the phone. (not to mention he completely skips the need to remove the adhesive to remove the battery). I would NOT use this video if you are a beginner.

Pro tip: use an ice cube tray for parts. Don't go criss cross, go from one side to the other in a straight line. Place all the parts of each component in the pocket, don't separate covers, part and screws. Then just start from the back on reassembly. This will save you a lot of mental space.

why didn't you mention using the pull tabs for removing the battery adhesive? i saw a minor puff of smoke and am pretty certain i punctured the battery. now i have to replace the battery! the video was awesome, but i have to give it a thumbs down. i could have set my house on fire.
