Perfect explanation. I watched this video and instantly started working afterwards. I am in a field, and in school for Automotive Service Management, BUT this was my first time ever doing a radiator job.
Single best how to mechanic video I've ever seen.
So refreshing to see a pro do it. Instead of the yahoo's you normally get. Nice job. Thanks
I’ve been noticing a lil leak on the driver’s side end of my XJ radiator. Today I saw some juice on the ground. I guess I’m getting closer to this project. At 264k I’m not surprised. Looks better than the water pump I did over the summer. Haven’t had any overheating so I’m staying ahead of these things. Will definitely buy the TRQ parts. Have had no issues with parts from them!
I love these for visuals when im trying to work on my jeep! Very clear and informative!
It's a bit easier to leave the radiator top mount connected to the cross-member and disconnect that from the front chassis thus removing both as one. Jeep drain plugs are famous for breaking. After all, they're plastic along with the tanks. If you're draining the antifreeze and not replacing the radiator, it's safer to drain it from the lower hose.
I love these videos just enough information without bogging us down
Nice video and very well explained step by step thanks for sharing !
I just wanna say DO NOT drain your coolant from that petcock unless youd like it landing everywhere but the bucket you put under it… youll have better luck pulling lower rad hose off
Excellent DIY video!
Perfect execution. Thank you.
thanks,I need to do this and know feel I have the knowledge to try it!
Thanks, this is a good video. A lot better than most.

+RJDPHYDATA Thanks for watching. Buy the part in this video on 1AAuto.com: 1aau.to/m/Shop-TRQ
Good video. Only suggestion would be to have mentioned the importance of flushing the system to remove any rust and debris left behind from previous radiator.
How do I seal the transmission openings on the new radiator if I have a manual? Thanks
Excellent

All 2001 4.0 are Not the same. Quick disconnect tool not needed . As both lines screw on. Good job though
I ordered a three core radiator off eBay and I had cut the quick connect. I clamped it down; now it’s leaking from the line fitting itself.. I’m so fed up lol
What is the quick disconnect tool called?
mine just barely drips i got a 1992
YO! thanks so far.
5:18... what is the part number

So not necessary to bleed the coolant system?
Wish you were my neighbor.
You know it's 84 to 96 and 96 to 01 that are identical

@@dirtbikeguy8993 does the 86 have a v6 and not the inline 4.0? Honestly asking because I didn't know these ever had v6's in them, not trying to be a smart ass
Do I fill up the condenser with anything ?
