Thank you for making this video. I used it two days ago to help me plan this job. I had to take off the tires as well as I didn't have enough room under the wheels to maneuver my tools to remove the bumper.

Nice video. Very informative. I wish you would have shown the removal and the installations of the transmission cooler lines. I'll figure it out. I have to replace the radiator support.

I think you mentioned it in the video but it's possible to do this without taking the bumper off?

If I took it off in the video, then it has to come off. I wouldn’t have done it if i didn’t need to. I think it comes out from the front. Haven’t done more than one or two of those. Good luck. It’s not hard to remove the bumper cover.

Can't say for sure, depends where you go. I can see this job being upwards of $600 or $800 where I work parts and labor.

When you had to fill it, did you have issues with air being trapped in your heater core?

  • @ThatAccordGuy

No. I use a vac and fill tool tho that pulls a vacuum in the cooling system to remove trapped air. Hard to get air pockets it in some vehicles. Maybe try to jack front end. This happens because the radiator cap isn’t the highest point.
