When i changed mine I removed the metal bracket on top of the light to get to the lid. Didnt even knew there was an opening to get to it in the wheelliner xD. Thanx for the knowledge, saves me time the next time :)

Thank you! 2 additional tips- 1. There are some models (like mine) who have a metal bracelet screwed in, warrping the blub's metal circle (on the outside, where the plug connects to the blub's pins), so make sure you unscrew it first. I unscrewed only the left one (on the left side bulb) to release it- make sure you catch it with your other hand. 2. Open your motor's cover to get an extra helpful light and place a piece of paper under the plug to prevent stuffs from falling into the motor/ on the ground.

This is helpfull because, first changed the right hand side bulp but then couldn’t for left hand side due to the battery being on the way😂 Thanks now I have some idea what I should be doing.

Hi, thank you 🙏🏽 The only other way to remove the bulb is by taking out the headlight, which requires removing the bumper. This is a bit more difficult but not impossible. Have you tried using a mirror to see how the bulb is fitted? If you can see it, then it should be easy to remove.

Hi How to change my Skoda superb 2016 high beam bulbs

Person that designed this car needs to be parked in the rain when its dark and blowing a gale then forced to change a bulb. Might improve design next time as currently it's a real pain !

Hi, it’s stuck because it may have some corrosion so spray wd40 or maintenance spray and leave it for few minutes and try again. Push the bulb in gently and twist it to the left but be careful as it’s glass it may shatter. Thanks 🙏🏽
