This video helped me remove the scratched lenses and replace them with new ones in less than 60 seconds. Perfect fit for my beloved Oakley Forehands! Thanks, you guys rock!

Thanks ! This saved some sunglasses that I bought and the frame instantly broke. I was able to change the lenses to another frame that I actually like more !

This video misrepresents how difficult it is to remove lenses from Ray-Ban Wayfarers. Looks like it is pretty easy to do for Oakleys. Revant Optics should make a video specifically for the Wayfarers.

I ended up using some adjustable pliers, but I wrapped them in a rag so that I wouldn't damage the glasses/lenses.

Found a video that actually shows how insanely easy it is to take them out (at least from New Wayfarers, which i have) where you just hold the frame and push with your thumb on the lens near the nose bridge section. Popped right out.

If this doesn't work for you, press straight down using your thumbs flat on the lenses. I found this method to be way easier than the one in the video. I tried the method in the video for 20 minutes, then use my thumbs and got them out in 30 seconds.

Damn wish this worked. I've got the custom Rayban New Wayfarers and it won't budge for anything. I've tried heat, soapy warm water, 2 pliers, and now pushing down as hard as I can straight in the middle of the lens and the most I've heard is a very slight creak. These things are completely insane (and amazingly tough)

This isn't working for my costa rincon. They have the glass lenses, so they don't bend at all.

What color is that?

Do you know a UK supplier of lenses, please?

Just my luck. I get frames that literally don't budge to even wiggle the lenses, even putting under heat lol

Hi there! Are your frames perhaps Rayban frames? Some Rayban lenses can be really difficult to remove especially if they have glass lenses. Sometimes they even glue there lenses in place which makes switching them out quite a challenge. We definitely recommend visiting an optical shop who may be able to assist you using the additional tools they have for lens removal.

Has anyone had success changing Rayban Wayfarer lenses ???? Mission Impossible. I'm not going to keep trying. I don't want to break the frame or the original lenses

This video is nonsense. I can’t remove my Wayfarer lenses using this technique and will have to take them to an optical shop. Notice in this video that when he pops them through with his thumb, the lens is already out! Misleading.

Hi there! Some Rayban lenses can be super difficult depending on the lens material they used. They offer polycarbonate lenses or glass lenses and glass lenses are hard to remove. Occasionally, Rayban will even glue their lenses in place. It may be best to visit an optical in your area who can warm the frames slightly to pop those lenses out.
