I have the same exact jetski i’m working on right at this moment! 03 seadoo gtx di, just a quick question, does that vent under the seat connect to anything or does it just hand freely towards the back?
@DIYwithMichaelBorders

Thanks for watching & the vent ducting directly underneath the center plastic cover does not connect to lower ducting with anything. It just shifts into place & is held down by cover & seat. Hope this helps. 😎👍🔧🔩

The nut that you mention you only need to loosen instead of remove, did you take off another part to get at it? I can’t get a wrench on it because of the part that’s below it

Thanks for watching & welcome to the DIY Raptor Club. Beginning at the (3:36) time, you will see that we removed three plastic parts, the 3rd part being the largest & has a lock pin & latch. This part must be removed to gain access to the hardware that needs to be loosened. Hope this helps, keep us posted on your project. 😎👍🔧🔩

Hello, I ve one 1998 Yamaha waverunner gp1200... the exhaust pipe already warn out three times. Do you know what can be the cause?
@DIYwithMichaelBorders
4 жыл бұрын
Karina Carneiro Thanks for watching & sharing your experience. What exactly is happening to pipe? Exhaust Pipes can wear out faster than normal if not properly winterized prior to cold weather storing. Any excess water can freeze, expand, & cause cracking of pipe as well as damage to O-Rings. Keep us posted on your project. Please subscribe to the channel and turn on your KZread notification Bell 🛎 that would be awesome thanks again! 😎👍🔧🔩

@DIYwithMichaelBorders
Жыл бұрын
@@brandonweiland9733 Thanks for the reply. You may be able to ever-so-gently tap it with a rubber mallet. The last thing you want to do is jam a breaker bar in the seam where the two pipes meet…that would definitely increase the possibility of damaging pipes.
