Does the flange mount come off the speakers or do if have to buy an adapter?

+Don The flange is part of the speaker. If you purchase a new speaker then it will have to come with the same thing. 1aauto.com

New speakers usually come with trimable adapters
Is the proces much different for models with power windows/locks? Also, great video, thank you.

Is it possible to reuse this speaker mount with an aftermarket speaker or is it permanently attached to the speaker? I would rather not have to cut the connector off the speaker wire to use quick slide connectors. I wonder if there is an adapter for this speaker connector.

The frame is part of the speaker and can't be reused. I did my last nissan (a Leaf) and that was typical budget nissan build. They definitely used the same setup since the Leaf was based on a versa note and the versa sedan. I get my speakers at crutchfield and they give you installation hardware for free. Speaker adapter frame and a wiring adapter. Hope this helps.
