New Control Arm with Ball Joint Set from 1AAuto.com 1aau.to/ia/1ASFK06205
This video shows you how to install a new quality TRQ lower control arm with ball joint in your 2010-2014 Subaru Outback. Control arms are a crucial part of the suspension system of your vehicle. They not only carry the load of the vehicle to the wheel, but they typically also maintain its alignment. Control arms are typically large and strong, so you may be surprised it needs replacing. They contain rubber bushings for smoother rides at the cost of eventual wear, or integrated ball joints that require replacing the entire arm when they wear.
Estimated installation time for a professional technician is approximately: 1 hour 54 minutes
This repair was done on a 2012 Subaru Outback 2.5i 2.5L Wagon 4-Door AWD Automatic and the process should be similar on the following vehicles:
2010 Subaru Outback
2011 Subaru Outback
2012 Subaru Outback
2013 Subaru Outback
2014 Subaru Outback

That wrench and tap on the ball joint is genius. I thought you were gonna hook up a slide hammer with the wrench attachment on it too

I used this video to change the control arms and ball joints on my 2011 Outback. Thanks for posting it. I have a few suggestions after changing both sides of my car. 1. Buy a Harbor freight or similar ball joint separator . It is much easier than trying to use the pry bar to separate the ball joint from the control arm. The hook shown in the video only works if you have a lift. 2. Buy a Astro Pneumatic 78620 Subaru ball joint puller. It makes getting that rusty ball joint out a breeze. 3. Be prepared to replace your pinch bolts with new ones or drill and use a similar sized bolt and nut. 4. Be prepared to have your car realigned. My front end was really worn, and all of the new parts made it bad out of alignment. I had mine towed to my local alignment shop.

Wish my sway bar link had that spot for a wrench instead of the end of the bolt having a Torx to hold it. Can't use a ratchet or impact with that stupid design.
