New Brake Pad & Rotor Kit from 1AAuto.com 1aau.to/ia/1ABFS02582
This video shows you how to install front brake pads and rotors on your 2010-2015 Lexus RX350. Brake pads wear out over time, much like tires, and need replacing, on average, every 50,000 miles, with variations depending on driving habits and environment. Brake rotors may also need to be replaced if they are warped or grooved. Often, it’s safer and more cost effective to replace pads and rotors at the same time. Squealing or grinding noises, or wheel vibration are all symptoms of worn brakes.
This process should be similar on the following vehicles:
2010 Lexus RX350
2011 Lexus RX350
2012 Lexus RX350
2013 Lexus RX350
2014 Lexus RX350
2015 Lexus RX350

Excellent! This was the only brake video I've seen that covered everything thoroughly, didn't give any bad advice, and explained the correct reasons for each step. Impressive!

Of all the 1A Auto / TRQ mechanics, I like Sue the best! (Well, my mother's name is also Sue, 😊.) Not only Sue is superior in her automotive knowledge and repair skills, but she's also demonstrated that she is a caring and considerate individual. For example, in this video, she says she wants to help viewers to save ")thousands of dollars" by making sure they don't damage the ABS system. Thanks, Sue and 1A auto!

Great tutorial. My rotors were seized so I had to use a couple bolts to get it off. Also, the clips that go on the pads have a tendency to push the brake pads out. Much easier with another person to hold them on while moving the caliper down.

If anyone else also wonder why wear indicator should be on top in this video, found this good explanation: This wear clip should be positioned so that the rotor contacts the clip before it contacts the brake pad. The rotor should push against that clip, not drag it away from the brake pad. The pad that has this wear indicator should also be on the inside of the caliper, since the inside pad wears somewhat faster than the outside pad.

The Haynes manual is saying to take the old thin stainless backing plate spacer and put it on the new pads. I tried to do that with benix, and the caliper didn't fit. On yours i don't think you did that.

An excellent video, both for the front and rear, but it would be helpful if more explanation could be given on how to remove rotors that are stuck on. As well, some confusion in my mind on where and when or if to use the grease that comes in the kit in light of the video admonishing no use other than putting silicone paste underneath the tins

Bought the rotor/pads kit for my son's 2005 RX330 from TRQ...I've done front brakes many times, never an issue, have used TRQ products as well, no problems...did the brake job on the RX330 two weeks ago, and now one of the metal plates that comes already on the brake pad ( between pad and caliper) has somehow slipped or slid off, and it's now scoring the side of the rotor hub, and creating an unpleasant grinding sound...bad brake pad? Ever seen this?

You are kinking the hose while bleeding out the brake fluid to push back the pistons. If the hose was in a worse condition, you could've cracked the hose or cause a weak point and potentially have the hose break while driving on the road. On a realistic note, you most likely would just crack and cause a leak right then and there. Just get some bungee hooks and hang them from the suspension springs
