So basically what you did here as a "pad slap" this is exactly what I would not do. You did not take the sliders out clean them or lube them or lube around the new brake hardware. You also should have taken the boots out and looped them and also ran a boar brush and cleaned out the holes inside where the boots go. That customer is now going to have some uneven brake ware. Please don't do this at home.
