mine didn't have the connector as mine is a basic without the keyless entry, but it took about 3 min to put on the door handle and cover over key entry ! The estimate was $100 ish just labor at the dealer. I did get my parts at the dealer as I wanted my key to fit and color to match. Thank you TRQ!

Thx for the vid. worked out great took no more then 5 mins. the worst part was pulling the handle trigger to line up with the handle. found some random lawn trimmer twine in the street (Philly) and it worked perfectly. thx again!

Any thoughts as to why my bolt for the lock driven with the T30 driver will not screw back in? I have replaced the handle successfully and was putting everything back together but that part will not thread.

Toyota will charge you 199.99 for that

Thank you very much- It worked just as advertised! To get a color-matched handle I ended up at Toyota, was $ 91 for the handle. A thin piece of string did the job of lifting that latch up while installing the handle. Will keep an eye out for more of your content!

Do you have a video for the rear doors?

Holy sh that was easy. I put it off for two weeks. It took me longer to find the t30 than to swap them out.

My 2016 SE doesn’t have that connector. I took my door panel apart thinking it fell inside. What model is this video on?

What is that plug that the exterior door handle is plugged into? Mine is missing, and it should unlock when I grab the door handle but doesn’t. Also my BSM system is malfunctioning on my driver side.

MAKE SURE THAT YOU KNOW WHETHER YOU HAVE A CONNECTOR BECAUSE I THOUGHT MINE FELL IN THE DOOR. ( I didn’t even have one in the first place so I took off my interior door without needing to.

do you need to take the interior door panel off?

Great vid. Only thing to add...when you put the key cylinder back in,that rod end has to line up with a small receiver in the door...it doesn't always do it automatically. Body shop couldn't figure it out, tried to tell me I needed a new cylinder until I googled it....

My 2013 Camry didn't have the connectors. I removed the door panel and searched inside door. Found another video in which that Camry also didn't have connecters. I got an actual mechanic to look at it. He discovered my handle somehow connects into something near the keyhole area. With door panel off, we placed door handle in place, he pushed something inside door panel to door handle and...it works now.

Update: You need to unscrew that T30 screw MOST of the way. Ive been trying to pry it off my door for 30 minutes until i watched another video. At least on mine, i unscrewed it like that and it has teeth that keep the screw in place even when its loose. Anybody else having issues pulling the cover piece off? In the video he simply pulled it out and mine is not budging even with a screwdriver and force. Im not sure what im doing wrong.

My 2012 Camry had no connector on that drivers door handle.

My handle isn't there anymore. I got hit by a deer and next time i tried to open the door i almost fell on my ass handle came right off 😅
