Thanks for this. I got a some replacement cups for Christmas, and inadvertently pulled the old cups off of the plastic holders. I was about to leave a bad review to the seller on Amazon.

Does this method work for the hs75 xb model?

If you have problems fitting new cups on just by pressin them like in the video you can also move foam to the side to reveal the indent where the latch supposed to be. Just press on the indent with the tool you pried the old earcups off and it should click in!

i have to cut the border of the cushing that fits in the ring a little bit, it was the fabric that dont let me click it back

I started at the bottom. Have you tried starting at the top? Will it click in by itself? Anything blocking or broken?

@@WatchItPaintIt I've taken mine apart. I think it needs a wrap around zip type band but on the market it's all sleeves - trying to put the sleeve on but the wires are in the way. Argh.

@@WatchItPaintIt theres headband replacement already in aliexpress but theres no instruction to install it. I once read that somebody actually bought it and install it but it needed some sort of soldering but i cant find the post anymore :(... literally my head, neck and t shirt gets filled with this crappy fake leather that is falling apart... im very close of just throwing it and buying a new one lol

Is this working with the Hs50 Pro?

I would think so!

Anyone who has the Corsair HS65 DO NOT SO THIS, it will break the locks of the pads, you must turn them so that they come out. L in favor of the hands of the clock. R against the hands of the clock.

Unfortunately with hs65, they are quite difficult to remove. When I twisted them off as you should the faux leather that's glued to the plastic frame you twist off of the headset, came off and I have to glue them back onto the plastic frames. Any glue you would advice that sticks pu leather to plastic?

I cant for the life of me get these on all the way around :( They dont look like they are too small so i dont know what the problem is.

Btw if you message Corsair support they will send you replacement pads for free no questions asked

@@WatchItPaintIt Looking at Corsair's site, the part is free but there is a shipping cost. It states a flat rate of USD $14.99 which I suspect is within the USA only, so a good deal if you're in America. I'm in the UK, so I'll stick with third party replacements. Also, it was a nice surprise to find this non-mini-painting video from one of my regular mini-painting channels - cheers! Also also with a Ryan George reference. Wow ... wow-wow-wow.

dude hs 50 pro not like that

such a garbage design. the cups aren't even mounted to the locking ring, so you snap the ring on and the cups pop off
