I don't race everything and I am getting 24 mpg with 825hp or 744rwhp, so I have it when its needed.

VK West I'm at 550 with my 2012 srt8, I get 24 highway, 17 average all around, I see no point in the v6 since it gets barely any better gas mileage, and 300hp on this heavy of a car is nothing lol

That rubber grommet, did you have to pull it out? Or does it stay in place throughout the process? Also, what color is your Challenger stripe/text on the back fender? Looks good.

I just bought one for my 2012 srt8 yellow jacket. The chrome was the only not black accessory on the car, idk why they didn't do the black on mine, everything is yellow and black except the cap.

Man dodge should be made that fuel door more secure. Anybody can open it up and syphone fuel out of it. They could've made a locking hook or made it magnetically lock in place or something like that. And they could've made it capless like in the charger

Question? Why didn't you just dip the chrome fuel door?

broncos county from what I've seen, there's fuel caps like this on ebay that will fit cars with regular flip open doors. just have to find the certain ones

Yea that's true found out when installing mine.

Much cheaper to paint it. Plastic dip. Did mine for 8 dollars Looks just like this but 90 dollars cheaper.

You could've just plastidip it

lol i have the exact same car but its red and i hate the chrome cap, ordered my black one yesterday off eBay, I'm too lazy to dip it myself not worth it.

Hate to tell you, but you're not really getting any better gas mileage.

Yes you are. I drive these cars for Dodge the 3.6 gets about 5MPG better mileage than the 5.7. Thats about 100 more miles per tank.

If I set my cruise around 70-75 on the HWY I get around 27-28mpg. In 6th gear the rpms are very low...Barely working. Average 17 in the city. With the MPG tune on my diablosport trinity I might get better mileage than a v6... lol
