Virberello, you are my new go-to scooter guy! My wife's 125 Lance Cali Classic wouldn't start after a long Minnesota winter. I ticked off the easy stuff and no luck. I planned to try the automatic choke next, but then watched this video, found the entire carburetor, including the choke, for under $30, and decided, "what the heck, let's do this!" I AM NOT a mechanic of any kind, shade tree or otherwise. I've never done anything like this before. Your patient presentation and tips of the trade made it look like something I could tackle. And you know what? Boom! Started right up and purrs like a kitten! Thank a million. You helped me accomplish something that I never expected I'd try, and Jenny is ecstatic- she has her scooter back!

But I do enjoy working on the engines. You did this replacement excellent and I did learn a lot about the GY6 carburetors by watching this video.

Virberello, is there a good carb that you won't have to be messing with jets and adjustments? I con't care what it costs! I am worn out looking at Carbs on Amazon and reading the Comments about all the troubles with them, the jets and so forth and having to work a lot on them to get them Right! And of course I don't want to get my scooter running only to be breaking down out away from home. Some people state that they get the new carb, get it running and all of a sudden something goes wrong or the carb just keeps causing problems. How to avoid this if possible? I bought the Carbhub carb on Amazon which looks almost exactly like the GooFit carb you have here. Just now getting it hooked up. Trying to put on some new hoses right now and filters

Hello my friend for the Gy6 150 all the carbs that you find in Amazon are great for the dollars you pay amzn.to/2Un4Yww around 25 to 35 but any carb even the more expensive if you like the best performance you will have to rejet them accordingly to your altitude but you do not have to do that because they are jetted on a lean seating that is safe for any altitude
