Indeed, you can see the left side tab is broken off. Quite visible when guy is putting the cover back on after replacing the filter.

Which direcrion is air flow up in there ? Maybe this video should mention that because i just see a arrow on the filter not in my car you could turn the air on which is what i did ?

At the 1:09 mark in the video we state the airflow arrow points down.

When I went to pull mine off both tabs broke off and flew down into the dashboard never to be seen again... had to glue it back on...

You can order a new housing door from your local Kia dealer.

You already prepped that tabbed piece to come off that easily. You don't demonstrate how it comes off and that's where I'm stuck. You do not explain well enough how to get that piece off and mine won't come out. Which way do you pinch the tabs? Up or down?

You have to use quite a bit of force to remove the sealing of the glovebox. You have to pull down towards the floor to remove the sealing of the glove box. On the filter housing door you hold your index finger on the top tab and use your thumb to pinch the bottom tab up. Both tabs need to be pinched this way so the housing door can be removed.

That is normal! In this video, it looks like the housing door was not properly latched, which is why it popped off without any pressure.
