Leave it to Mercedes to make the cabin filter replacement difficult! I believe most cars have the cabin filter right in the grove compartment.

Thank you. Found some glk 250 2015 differences. North America, left hand drive for what it’s worth may help someone: 1) t15 screws 2) direction of air flow is towards the front (away from you and the passenger seat while doing the job). Source1 : turned on air while filter was out, felt the direction. Source 2: filter is asymmetric in shape - matched the orientation of filter removed & supported by the flow direction indicator on replacement matched my observation of air flow. Source 3: the dirty side of the filter removed was towards me - upwind side. 3) not on yours but I had a foot well light to disconnect form the cover too. Simple by hand push clip.

"direction of air flow is towards the front (away from you and the passenger" . The dirty side for me was the passenger's side/right, towards the passenger (2014 GLK 350). So that indicates that the air is flowing from right to left. My take away, the arrow does not indicated airflow, its only a marker.

Just to confirm the air flow indicator points towards the passenger seat and not the drivers, right?

The air flow indicating arrow should be pointing towards you and the passenger seat when being installed.

@@filterheads Are you sure about that, just did mine, and it definitely points to the right, away from you and the passenger.

Spent an hour trying to get yours to fit in my GLK 250. Wouldn’t work. OEM filter goes in and out, no problem.
