After working at a peat moss plant for two years, my filter was BROWN. Thank you for the video. Will be changing my filter bi-yearly now that i know how to remove it. Alot easier than a Fiesta.

Glad to hear it and yes it is a better process than the Fiesta models.

The video helped me look harder for the two screws under the glovebox, one removed a firm tug and the glovebox came out. Simple enough when you remove the "correct" screws.

You're welcome and yes our filter was way past due.

In every car replacing bulbs and filters is super easy to access, except for the fusion you have to basically take the car apart to be able to change the simplest things very poor design choices

This video makes the realignment look easy. Took me 15 minutes to get all the pins aligned.

@@filterheads it is like they want people to not be able to maintain their cars. Hell I do everything on my 98 civic. The 2015 fusion has to many electronics for me to even attempt anything other than oil change, tire rotation, and filter changes. Even the tire rotation is silly sometimes because of the tire pressure sensors.

Wow. Thats the most tedious filter replacement I've ever seen.

I agree it is a poor design.

That screwdriver used to remove the first panel left a permanent crease on the edge of it.

It is good to change your cabin air filter once a year or every 15,000 miles.

WOW! you might want to get a vacuum on the inside of that, looked horrid.

Yes It is always good to clean out any debris in the housing.

Ford designers should be fired for this
