I have the same BMW and looking to do the same strut/shock replacement front and rear. Where did you end up buying your parts? specifically is it B4 or B6 version of Belstein? and what size of spring did you use assuming you have sport package wheels on yours?

eBay for the actual shock absorbers, FCP Euro for everything else besides the 35mm H&R lowing springs. Got from Facebook market place for a killer discount. My wheels are Sparco pro Corsa

@@TheRealToybox Joe, Thank you for prompt reply. I found my 08 Z4 3.0si dealer window sticker: Sport Package - 18" wheels, sport suspension. It also states: Strut-type front suspension with forged-aluminum lower arms and hydraulic cushions. Central Link rear suspension with cast-aluminum upper traverse links. Have you seen on your BMW or come across these hydraulic cushions? And is your BMW sitting on 18" wheels?

I haven’t heard anything about hydraulic cushions maybe it’s the bump stops? Yes the fronts are 235/ 35 18 rears are 255/ 40 18

Hey Joe where did you get the boot struts and bump stop for rear? It shouldn't be ribbed correct?

eBay. My new ones I installed about 3 months ago are starting to crack, so my best guess is that it’s normal
