Yeah I was going to ask you what temperature would teach that you went back with so 180 that's what I'm going to do thanks for the video I was wondering if there was going to be a third bolt underneath there where I had to remove the exhaust but I see there isn't thanks again bud

That back bolt on mine is so locked, it feels like it's welded! Ha! Any ideas on loosening it?

Maybe spray it with some PB blaster, also add a pipe or another wrench for more leverage.

Hey I literally just bought a thermostat but mine has 3899 on its box....Can I still use it for my 2007 equinox or should I return it for the one in the video?I'm attempting to fix it myself in a few hours.

It should work, it's just a 195 degree thermostat, I put in a lower temp one.

I have a coolant leak, bought a new thermostat before I noticed a leakage, will a new thermostat stop the leak? Or should I check for other issues like radiator

If the leak is coming from the thermostat housing a new thermostat should have a gasket/o ring on it so it shouldn't leak there. If it's another spot, I would investigate around that area.
