Hi, did you remove return line and high pressure hose on Steering rack? I need to take down my gearbox to change rear crankshaft sealing. The steering rack is blocking acceess to removal bolts from torque converter. My car is E430 4Matic (S210). Thank you for great video.

Hi, I am facing issue with this car. short circuit comes positive 12 volts on ground. lead to drain the battery. any suggestion please?

Rodeo no you don’t bc you’re not removing the inner or outer tie rod ends. If the alignment was good b4 the job it’s shouldn’t change. You could just do it for good measure but you don’t have to.

@@a2zautomasters862 yeah that's what I thought cause I noticed you just kind of got it out of the way for more space rather than removing it altogether, nice! Now that you're here let me ask for your advice or anyone who reads this. I'm replacing the wiring harness on my mercedes. The whole point of removing the starter is to get to its wires. Starter wiring harness is in good shape. Wire damage is somewhere else. The wires go to the injectors on top then to the starter. I was thinking maybe just maybe there's a connector in the aftermarket world to instead of running the wire to the starter, maybe I could cut the wire on top, solder it to an aftermarket connector, and plug the new wiring harness to the connector. Have you seen something like this or is it just me wishful thinking?

Rodeo I actually haven’t seen anything like that b4 specially in high-end cars like Mercedes and I wouldn’t recommend cutting it bc most of these wires are insulated and shield in a special way for interference. So you might run into other issues in the future just bc of interference issues
